Just curious- do any of you allow yourself one day or even one meal where you just don't count the points and splurge a little?

Gee, you would ask that.  More than I care to remember.

I think the splurging a little is what has gotten me into the situation I am in. On the other hand, I know a man who lost 80 lbs allowing himself a cheat day every Sunday.

I used to allow myself an entire cheat day, but I've backed off to a cheat meal. I know I can't go without entirely... that is what will make me give up. So far it is working!

I always count my points even when I want something that has more points.. I have to say I love WW and for me I must count.. * I do enjoy my chips on the weigh in days or what ever I want I count .. What I do is: after my weigh in - I take one day and have my steak or chips or hot dog and enjoy them.. The next day I will get back on the track of my new lifestyle of eating and exercise I have to say for me I exercise daily.. I love my new lifestyle.. So for me I don't splurge due to I feel so guilty if I do..

That's funny- I always have my *cheat* meal on my weigh in day too.  I now weigh in at night so I enjoy what I want, and start fresh in the morning.  I must say that I don't count my points, though.  I probably should do that!

I also use to do that when I weigh in on the night weigh ins. ( Yes, please count points> its does work, even on those cheat days) I truly love WW due to it makes me feel great..

I splurge after my weigh in and I don't count the points for that day.  Having said that I have a lot of weight to lose and I do not splurge that much.  Just eat some salty foods that I would not normally eat a couple of days before my weigh in.  I do assume that my 49 points are gone (although they probably aren't) and that way I am on track for the rest of the week.
