I have been reading through diet information and it seems to be the conclusion is that dieting doesn't work. However, I have heard so many people say Weight Watchers helped them lose tons of weight. Why the discrepancies? Does it really work or not?  Do you consider the progress you have made worth the money you have paid?

It didn't work for me. The only thing that has worked for me is counting calories, which really isn't dieting as I'm not restricting food, I'm just watching what I eat. I can have that piece of cake if I want it. I just have to make sure I have 'room' for it. Plus, it teaches me HOW to eat without having to tally points. That was what was frustrating with WW. A lot of the places we'd go didn't have points listed and I wasn't going to sit there and figure it out. Their apps are not complete just yet either. (I did it last year for a few months.)

I do enjoy their magazine though.
