Finally Friday!

It's been a relatively short week for me since i got home Tuesday night. From this weekend out, skiing might just be the weekend and not into the work week since there are no more holidays. I still go up on Tuesdays though.  I have a client today but that's it. Probably won't work out but I might get more motivated.  My legs are tired from all the skiing and then class yesterday.  Any fun plans for the weekend?

This new product launch is leaving me EXHAUSTED!  I have a 90 minute massage scheduled because the muscles surrouding my scapula area SCREAMING.  I will probably do a spin and yoga class this weekend.  I have a lot of administrative work, along with sorting through PILES of junk that have accumulated.

But I would rather start the piecing of a new quilt...or go linedancing...or go to a dance lesson.  Maybe I will fit something fun in.  :)

Jean, instead of a workout, I would get a yoga mat (and a roller if you have one), watch a trashy movie or TV show and just stretch and roll.  I'll bet your muscles could use it.

FSN, hope you get some R&R for yourself and that your shoulders feel better.  Maybe time to consider a new pillow?  We got a new bed and pillows and as of last night, I may have just found the ideal sleeping position.  Also, take a look at how your seat is positioned in your car.  I know you drive a lot.  For shoulder stuff, it's better to have the knees closer to the steering wheel and the seat reclined a bit so the shoulders don't roll forward.

Arryl, any post-accident soreness?

Cath, keep up the good work on the Pilates!

Happy, go play in the snow for me.  On a similar note, a friend in the Midwest complained on FB that she is "tired of camping in the house."  They've had a lot of weather related power issues.  Because I am a bad person, I told her that I sympathize and it was so windy here yesterday that it knocked a grain of salt off the rim of my margarita.  Tongue Out

My weekend has officially started.  I did 40 minutes on the elliptical this morning and finally got a decent night's sleep last night. Headed off to shower and pack.  OP is picking me up in about two hours.  Part of me wants to be a slug and stay home but I'm sure it'll be a nice weekend.  I very much enjoy OP's birth family and we'll also see some friends I don't get to see very often.  Have a lovely weekend ladies!  Wink

Chiropractor this afternoon, hopefully the day at work goes smoothly, I am in a mood with co-workers. Let's work on a project for 2 months, same project happens every single year and uses the same letter template every single year, but let's wait til the week before said batch of 33 letters have already been drafted and ready to go out to decide to completely change them, have to then run them through legal (which is another PITA) and then run them up the chain for approval. GRRRRRR.... Anyways, no more soreness, I have been icing it each night while I watch the olympics and I am pretty sure that has helped a lot. We have 2 birthday parties tomorrow with the kids, and gymnastics for the little one in the morning, but its her last class and she has been giving me issues about going lately, so we may just skip it and do the farmers market and then the Y instead. DH and I are doing a date night in the evening, and sunday is all about house work.

Stretch and roll would be a good idea but I'm feeling like lying on the couch.  ;-)  Speaking of lack of motivation. I had a massage last week, or was it the week before?  I'm a month behind so could use another.  But, I like doing nothing, too.

Nothing fun planned for me. I need to go to Costco which is NOT fun on busy Saturday. Dh is running ~25 miles (training for a 50K in mid-March) and by the time he gets home, cleaned up, etc he's beat and the day is gone so not doing anything together either. Maybe I'll go to the big Farmer's Mkt on Sunday morning. I did get a good ride in this morning at the velodrome...maybe my tolerance for it is once a week. My SIL took me out to lunch as thanks for taxi-ing her to/from the airport, we tried someplace new that was good.

Have a great weekend everybody.

Jean, I have an every other week cleaning lady, and I do pick up for her, but it is so nice to come home to a clean house. There are usually two ladies, and except that they do put things away in places I wouldn't think of, they make my house sparkle. FSN, good for you for putting play in your schedule. Gymrat, have a fun weekend, Aryl, work would be sooo much better if people would be sensible....or listen to those of us who are...Elc - stores like Costco make me sweat in anxiety...so be careful! They are a jungle! Karla, hoping things are going well with your granddaughter. I worked late tonight and am working tomorrow. I hate hen I know i am making bad choices but indo it anyway...I think the 'tipping point' is coming on my project when everything that people thought they could catch up on comes out into the open...it will be ugly but I have been honest all along so I can just wait and watch...but the running around is exhausting....no Zumba tomorrow, but if I get done working early enough, maybe I will go and run...have a great weekend everyone!

Good for your husband! Does he do those often?  And a pat on the back for you, too, for being support. It's tiring on both partners!

I know I'd probably love a housekeeping service.  I'm not vested enough to look around. It's so sad that I'm too lazy to get help.
