Phew, the weekend went by in the blink of an eye!  I went linedancing Friday night, met with my lawyer Saturday morning (and met the wonderful puppy my lawyer just got!), took a well needed nap, went out to dinner with dh, went to yoga Sunday morning, and then FLEW an hour away to see my work partner perform in a string orchestra with a phenomenal russian pianist and have late lunch with a different girlfriend.

Now, back to the regular work week - work today, work meeting tonight (we stay over at a hotel because it is so far), work meeting tomorrow morning, lunch speaker program 1.5 hours from work meeting, work some more, maybe linedancing Tuesday evening.  That's just the next two days.  PHEW!  "So much to do, so little time!"

What are you all up to?

OMG...I just realized that the next month is completely booked out with activities every weekend. Hhhhhhowwww did that happen?!  I think I better preschedule some massages and yoga classes in there somewhere so that I don't get too stressed out!

I had a good weekend. Passed the level 1 aerial silks test (just a formality because it's beginner level but I never tested), did parkour, ran the lake Sunday and the big thing was clean out my closet. When my husband was active duty, we moved all the time so I had to clean out my closet each time but we've been here a while and stuff accumulates. What I realized is that I don't have much clothes at all!  Or, I have a ton of workout clothes for all my activities. Things like skiing take up most of the space, obviously. But, for day to day clothes? I need to get shopping!

I'm hoping to get to silks tonight but that'll depend on rides for my daughter.  I can't wait for her to get her license, even though she just got her permit and hasn't tried driving yet.  Planning ahead for the freedom and fear of her independence.

I had a very busy weekend too. It flew by and when I woke up this morning I was confused as to what day it was. lol

Jean-congrats on passing your test! Fresh, I have things lined up every weekend in June and most of July. We are heading to the beach in July and I can't wait.

I ran a 10K this weekend. I decided on the spur of the moment to do it and I couldn't be happier about how I did. The weather was perfect (55 and cloudy) and I ran a 56:11!! I started out too fast (first mile 8:47) but finally got myself into a steady pace. I felt really good at the end so I am pretty confident about the distance now.

I'm lifting weights today and may jog a few miles on the tread. I ran really hard this weekend so I want to take it easier the next few days.

FSN, I have the opposite issues with my schedule.  I recently noticed that I have almost nothing scheduled for the next month or so.  It's kind of nice.  Cool

Jean, it doesn't take long before you realize you don't have much to wear.  That happened to me recently too.

Karla, congrats on the race!  I guess your foot is holding up okay?

Had a busy morning so far but I'm getting things done.  I have a massage this afternoon and I'm looking forward to that.

Well, I survived the graduation an d the wedding! There were several crises which developed because people didn't plan properly, but I managed to not get involved in resolving anything....just shook my head in amazement...because we have known about these two events for a year! I think some people need drama....not me...we had beautiful weather both days despite the forecast for rain, and the major events were more or less on schedule. All tears were happy tears...the best part was when the bride's 17 year old daughter spoke about how happy she was to be getting my brother as her dad and how much he has 'been there' for her....it was very touching. I managed a long solitary walk yesterday...people who were attending the wedding kept passing/stopping in their cars to see if I needed a ride....the hotel was right on the ocean and very lovely...and now, that event is checked off my go do list! Karla, great job on the run, Jean, great job on the test...FSN, hope this lawyer does right by you. GR, hope you are having a good day. I am on the train home...I will take a cab to my house and I think I have about 500 miles on me for the weekend! Going to Pilates...I might run, but I might not. Birds and sunshine woke me at 6:00 am and I need a nap....

Karla,  I love how far you've come so quickly since you've started running. I have the feeling that you'd excel in anything you try, though. Speaking of which, how is school going?

SJ, that sounds touching. Being a planner, I can't get over how people let things go, too.  This is a surpise because...?

GR, I have a pretty empty schedule, too.  It's in part because I haven't gotten my act together to plan. I better go make some appointments because I'm due... Ugh, if I could live w/out phone calls I'd be happy!
