It's snowing again Tuesday
Tue, 03-25-2014 - 8:42am

It was in the 70's this weekend and now it's cold and snowing again. I'm not complaining but it's just been an odd winter.  I'm getting ready for my trip to Lake Placid, lots of laundry but there is time to get in a massage.  I have about a 10 hour drive tomorrow.  And, I'll be missing for a week here. So excited!

We have snow flurries here today too but they are saying winter may finally be over. I am so ready to take a nice warm walk in the park!

Have fun at Lake Placid Jean.

Not much going on here today. I have given the kids a spring break so I am just resting from the school work. I have to work later today so I doubt I will have any time to get to the gym. It's cold and snowing so I won't get outside today either.

Ugh.  I am having anxiety over all of this court stuff that I don't understand.  So I am focusing on what I can do NOW, and TRYING to let everything else go.  I am going linedancing tonight, and I did early morning yoga.  I have lots of work to do, as well.

Jean, enjoy Lake Placid.  Karla, enjoy the babies on spring break...I look back fondly on those days.  GR, are you feeling better?  I empathize with having on crabby pants!  SJ, CONGRATULATIONS on retirement.  I am so envious!  EL, your life sounds SO wonder you find it hard to get a workout in!  Make it a great day, everyone!

SJ, congrats on retirement!  How awesome for you.  I'd be happy to talk to you about freelancing.  Send me a PM here and I'll give you my real email address.

Jean, enjoy your trip!  I hope you have decent weather for a ten hour trip.

Karla, stay warm and maybe enjoy a little "spring" break yourself.

FSN, so sorry to hear about your stress.  Frown  Try to remember to take care of yourself throughout all of this nonsense.

Mom arrived yesterday and we had a nice day.  I worked out this morning and we're getting pedicures this afternoon.  Not sure what else we're going to do.  I'm feeling so-so.  I've got the fatigue monster again.  Sealed

Jean, have fun in Lake a Placid! Someone should enjoy the new snow! Gymrat, I will PM you in a couple weeks after I actually stop working. Enjoy your visit with your mother. Karla, spring break is such a fun thing! In Massachusett, schools are closed for the week in February with President's and the week in April with Patriot's day, aka Marathin Monday...spring break in March is a college concept and always makes me think of the movie 'Where the Boys Are'. FSN, I hope you find some peace in your hecticness. I had a good day. My decision to retire was announced to a small group but spread like wild fire. I got a lot of nice notes and phone calls. I know I will cry at the end, but right now, I am just so happy! This feels so right to me. I remember a moment when I was trying to lose wright and I thought 'I should eat more fruit' and I realized, to eat more fruit, I had to buy more is so simple, but it felt profound to me. And how I feel about this decision is that if I want my life to be different, I can't keep doing the same thing...seems simple but feels profound. But I did the same thing in that I went yo the gym...but on Tuesday! 10 minute bike warmup, lifting for legs, abs, ran 1 mile. I am trying yo run more often for shorter distance and see if that gives me more miles....

LOL, I was saying I might be the most disliked person on FB because I'm so excited about the snow.  I heard that you all are getting/just got a storm. Stay safe!  Any immediate plans for retirement?  First few days of having nothing that you HAVE to do?
