I can't complain about long weekends but I'm always messed up on what day it is then.  How were your weekends? We had the best weather here. I love spring weather!  I didn't do much of anything this weekend but it was my son's birthday.  I had a discouraging parkour (401pk--class for older people) class on Saturday where there were three of us, a guy who is ready to move up and me and that woman who is obese I'd talked about before.  He would tell the guy to do one thing and me and the other woman to do something else.  Really, I know I can't do as much as the miltary guy, former gymnast, but I sm in as good shape as he is and I'm not close to the other woman!  Anyway, so last night I went to a regular parkour class which I have done (fast forward if you're on FB since I posted this there). Love this instructor because he doesn't give me the option to be wimpy, although he does mention it but he assumes I won't take it and if I try, he tells me I could do the harder one.  I ended up jumping onto a mini tramp, doing a kong (dive at the vault, hands down, pull your feet through and land on your feet) over a gymnastics vault. Seriously, when he set it up, I about left the class because I thought there is no way I could do it.  At first, he had a huge thick mat on the other side and once we got it, he changed it to a 2" mat. I almost left at that point, too. But, it all worked. I was so excited!  I told him he gets me to do things that no other instructor has. I finished up going to silks last night so I need a rest day today.  I'm going to the dentist and meeting a friend who recently became a trainer and is finding out the pain of selling personal training in a gym.

Jean-WOW. I am beyond impressed. Not only do I have trouble with trampolenes (too many kids) but vaulting would undo me. LOL!

I haven't really used a mini-tramp in years!  Well, actually now that I think of it, I did a fitness dance/zumba like class on one at a fitness conference but we didn't jump high off of one. Yeah, as I was standing in line I was mentally picturing all the things that could go wrong. Never mind that the other two in the class were women about my age, one a former gymnast, the other in amazing shape. I was by far the worst n the group. Normally I'm the one who has the most muscle tone but these two blew me away!
