This is one of those days I'd love to just stay put and do nothing. I'm teaching a boot camp class this morning and have silks in the afternoon. This is the last month I'll have this class, though.  Countdown time!  What are you all up to today?  GR, any results yet?

Jean - enjoy your fun class this afternoon.

No results from either doc yet although the endo warned me it could take up to a week.  I'm going to call the allergist's today and request that my regular doctor review the results.  I'm on (well, I was) probably the only medication that will keep me from another sinus surgery and the doc last week suggested I stop it in case I was it was causing me an allergic reaction.  I really don't think that was it but I'm supposed to wait until the blood tests come back before I re-start it.

I'm planning to work this morning and then I have a massage this afternoon.  I'm seriously considering taking the rest of the afternoon off after the massage.

Ugh, I hope all your doctors manage to work it out. I guess the glass half full view is that you have health insurance that covers it?  I vote for taking a break after massage. I feel like it's a workout.

The sun is out here today and it is like perfect. It's breezy and in the 70's.

SJ, I like your idea about selling the headbands if I find any. lol I can't believe I saw white headbands everywhere but now that I need one, I can't find one anywhere!

Gym, take the rest of the day off and read something trashy. :-)

Jean, what are you going to do with all your free time?

Jean, that is a good thought.  It's hard to keep that in mind when I'm getting bills for $200 and $300 dollars.  But yes, I am thankful to have fairly decent health insurance.  Prior to Obamacare, I kept expecting them to drop me but  now they can't!  HA!

Finally got some news.  One of my thyroid hormones is low, the other two are normal.  That will probably show up in the endo bloodwork.  Liver is fine so I can go back on my other script that will hopefully keep me off the operating table.  Kidney function is a bit low which could be something or it could be nothing.  They are retesting me in two weeks.  I called this morning and asked them to send the results to my regular who doctor who called me personally inside of an hour.  Impressive.  Cool  No news from the endo but I don't expect to hear anything until mid next week.

Jean, if that silks routine was beginner, advanced must be very scary! GR, I have heard or perimenapause causing a lt of things, but swollen face? With absolutely no medical training (I feel faint reading Web MD) I still hate it when doctors. Blame things on 'women's issues). Hormones do cause a lot, but I think women are under treated and under believed by medical professionals....I know you are not going to be pushed around or pacified....Karla, a perfect day? Send some my way...we have rain but are expecting good weekend weather so it's a good trade off. I went to the gym this morning...7 minutes on bike, lifting for shoulders, bis, tris, abs. Five minutes on stairs...I planned to do 15, but then I realized I could go to Zumba...so I abandoned the stairs to dance....I am in a cooking frenzy of my own making. I am making linzer torte cookies, which is a three step process...one and two are done...and I am making meatballs...also multiple steps...need to roll and fry and I am procrastinating....

Happy, it's bad form to discuss something so  yummy like linzer torte cookies and not post the recipe. Kiss

You know, for all the baking I do, I've never made linzer torte either. I need to expand more. I've made these recently, baked them at one, two and three days and letting the dough rest three days was amazing.

So today was the first day where I mentally started seeing what coulde happen if something went wrong w/ silks. I mean, I've always known on a logical level but it affects me when I start playing it out in my head.  They weren't new moves as much as that I had to move much higher up on the silks and am close to the ceiling when I start some. Having an active imagination just isn't a good thing when you do parkour and silks!
