This feels like the longest week ever!  Maybe it's because last week was spring break and I was in NYC.  And, the challenging thing is that I work every day but only an hour or two so it ties up my day.  I'm teaching a class this morning and then later in the afternoon I have a client--see, this is what I mean. It's only two hours of work but I'll be running here and there and it takes up the whole day.  Okay, I'll stop whining. I had the best time at parkour yesterday. I can do anything that's more strength related but I can't get myself to jump over boxes or anything where I think I'll injure myself.  I'm such a wimp!

Gym, I know, I have thought about Ms. Skin and bones and her freak obsession with times and I don't want to be like her. But...lol I am thinking about entering some bigger runs and the competitor in me whirls up. I don't know why because I hate competition. Maybe I don't really hate it and I am kidding myself about that. Maybe I thrive on it. Ugg.

I have the perfect competition for you and SJ! It's called run for the Rose`. It's mainly servers running with a tray full of wine glasses in their hands but margaritas might work very well too. I'm going to guess people are feeling "phenomenal" by the time they get through their runs. ;-)

Oh I forgot to tell you girls about this weird piece of a dream I had last night. I can't remember where I was in the dream; it seemed like a library when all of a sudden I had twins. I didn't remember being pregnant or giving birth but there I had my "twins" there with me. I was confused and shocked because I couldn't figure out where they came from but everyone kept reassuring me they were mine. One of the twins was a rather large girl with a head full of hair. She didn't look like a newborn. The other, a boy, who was a tiny baby infant. The last thing I remember about the dream was I was looking at them and saying their names. The girl's name was Claudette and the boy's name was Here To.

lol Any ideas on what that dream might mean if anything??

Ugh on bad feedback. That's one thing they keep telling us as ski instructors--feedback needs to be factual and objective.

Have you considered being a hasher? The club is "for drinkers with a running problem"? You might like that.  I'm not a competitive runner but it does get some people motivated.  Most people. Like almost every runner I know.  I told someone recently that I just run.  I don't know how fast, how far, how long. I ran until I felt like I wanted to stop.  Sometimes fast, sometimes slow. It's awesome.

LOL, maybe a sumo suit would be the key. I wouldn't be afraid of getting hurt.  Either that or a glass of wine. I think wine is good in helping conquer fear.

There's some race where you drink a beer per mile. I can't remember how far it is.  I'll stick to margarita flavored gummy chews!

Some days, our discussions remind me of the improv on 'Who's Line is it Anyway'. I was in the. Boston Marathon carrying a tray of margaritas when I saw these twins trying to vault over a box in a sumo wrestling suit....we have pub runs in Boston where you ru from bar tovar having a beer at eact one. And the FalmouthRoad Race has its origins in a bar discussion. FSN, it always amazes me what our parents generation endured. In Krakow, at the museum at Schinler's Factory, there were oral histories from the people who worked in the factory. They were palm Beach Jewish grandmothers, perfectly coiffed, sweet pantsuits and tasteful jewelry, recounting this horrific nightmare that was their life. The human spirit is amazing. I am worried about what is happening in Ukraine - I don't want WW III but I don 't want evil to triumph either. We had a beautiful but old day here..we usually can't plant gardens until Memorial Day...I lifted early, than ran two miles in 27:19. I ran the first half mile without stopping, which I think lengthens the time because I start at a lower speed...but it was a good run. I walked this afternoon but it was so cold I cut it short and came home.

LOL, we do cover a wide range of topics here!  Yeah, when I think of Ukraine, I think it would be great not to get involved but then you think of WWII and how we all asked in grade school how the US sat back and did nothing when all that was going on, for as long as it did.
