I almost wrote "thrusting on thursday" because I like alliteration but then I thought that might be too provocative.  Cool

Happy, to answer your question, the project will have to disassembled and reassembled every time it moves.  DH is trying to work his engineering magic to figure out a way to minimize set-up but I don't think he's found anything just yet.  And thanks for sharing the memory of your mom and meatballs.  That is a lovely story.

I'm going to try to take it easy today.  I've been feeling a little yucky the last two days so I wonder if maybe I'm pushing it too hard.  I'm going to do a moderate elliptical workout, go get my allergy shots and then I have a dermatologist appointment.  There's this little "thing" on my forehead that's been there for about two years and I want it gone.  It looks like a whitehead but my asthetician couldn't remove it and said I should see a dermatologist. Of course, no one but me probably even knows its there but you know how it is...

I had a caprese salad last night with two tomatoes from DH's garden.  YUM.  So red and so flavorful.  Delicious.

Since some of you get to the board late, I'll post my Valentine's message now - Valentine's Day is stupid.  But, if you need an excuse to tell someone you love them, then use Valentine's Day.  Better yet, tell them why you love them.  Kiss

Gymrat - do NOT torture people buried in snow with tales of tomatoes we won't see until August...it is just too cruel....this wasthe worst weather day so far this winter here in Boston. It was barely snowing this morning at gotothe work time, and since I hada. Dentist appointment this afternoon and would have to go out anyway, I went to the office to work. At go to Dentist time hugely giant snowflakes were falling...whippedby the wind. By the time my teeth were cleaned, it was snowing normally but it had piled up so fast I trudged home. By the time I went to. The gym, it was raining and the snow was packed down ice. And when I was done, it was skating rink slippery....yikes...Aryl, that is neat that they stream the competition. other than big time football and basketball, it's hard for parents to catch kids events so what a great idea. Karla, glad. You. We're running and eating...I was afraid you had no power and you were sitting in the dark. Jean, try to enjoy the snow enough for all of us. FSN, Hope your condo sells. I am reviewing grants for a charity and my set is about housing services... I always know. I am blessed, but this reinforces it..li know much of what I have came. From hardworking and. Good choices, but some is luck....I am a big proponent of telling people you love them all the time...my mom always said it at the end of phone calls, and our family has that habit. Even though it might be automatic,I still feel it when I say or hear it. As noted, I slogged to the gym - 5 minutes on bike, lifting for shoulders, bis, tris, abs. Should have run....didn't. Maybe tomorrow, but probably not.

Whew, shoveled 12" of snow today--great workout. I felt for Karla's neighbor/guidance counselor who lost it when the plow truck put snow back onto his driveway after he'd finished. I was thinking the same thing when the plow truck driver came by but luckily it wasn't too bad.  We have a neighbor who has a new snowblower and about did the whole neighborhood's sidewalks (after I'd done ours) and he might be the most popuar guy right now.  I'm heading out to ski tomorrow and kicking myself that I didn't get out today. But, I have clients tomorrow.  The irony--I can get up to ski, except when it snows!

Hey girls! I didn't make it yesterday because I was the victim of peer pressure and steroids. I did a ridiculous weight workout and ran 7 miles and then didn't have the energy to move the rest of the day. I did however eat half a meatloaf and a few pounds of potatoes so I think I refueled. lol I will be glad when I am feeling back to normal. I don't like the crazy person I have become.

This will be mine and hubby's 30th Valentines day. I agree with Gym that it is totally overrated. I bought a heart shaped baking dish many years ago so will make the traditional pink cake with red hots and we will spend the evening watching TV just like almost every other night of our lives.

Chicken/pasta casserole for dinner and I'll probably do a 30-45 minute walk on the tread for exercise.

My ODD used to always have a big "anti-valentine's day" party with her girlfriends the night after valentine's day. They would go get all the clearanced chocolate, rent romantic comedies and make fun of them and just have fun, some had boyfriends, some didn't. DH is not a gift person, he tells me he loves me all the time. We don't eat out very often, so we usually use Valentine's day as our excuse to go out and have one really nice, expensive, fancy meal a year. This year, the first one without our built-in babysitter who went off to college (and my cleanse ending this weekend) we have decided to wait until next weekend and either go out as usual, if we can track down a sitter, or I will make him a nice romantic dinner at home after the kids go to sleep and we'll have an at home date. I have a new recipe in mind to try for dinner, so we'll see what happens.

Arryl, how exciting about your daughter!  I miss watching my children in competitions!  As for cleanses, yes, I love dairy and meat too much to give them up 100%, but I have significantly reduced my intake of them!  I do feel healthier for the diet options I have made...I just find that I eat the "bad" foods in moderation.

Justs before pressing, "post", windows shut down  my computer for an update.  <ahem>  "Take Two."

Ok, GR, I LOVE your sense of humor..."Vday is stupid."   :D  You make me smile.

Lots of work today.  Yes, I think I am shutting down with all of the work stress.  So, yesterday, I fit in a 90 minute massage, took a nap, and went out linedancing.  YEA for me.  GR, a garden tomato in February?!  I am so jealous.  I live in the wrong part of the country.  We have someone interested in our condo downtown, so I am hoping we sell it.  I think we are going to "break even," at least that is what we are hoping for.  I just want it "off the books" at this point.  At least we  have a LITTLE equity built up in it, and we got to enjoy it for a while.  I would rather "audition" a potential retirement location.  Chicago would be nice for the summer, but I want something with a nicer view.

Work today, drop off paperwork at my new lawyer's office (along with a check), and packing tonight to visit my mom this weekend.  I MAY be able to see my daughter, too, although I think she is going to be really busy with her boyfriend.  :P  Life goes forward.

Day 4 of my cleanse.  Today is the first day I am actually hungry, but it may be because I missed a dose of Toxin absorber yesterday.  I was off work and out and about running errands and stuff and I wasn't able to keep up on the 3 hour intervals, I didn't plan well enough.  So we'll see how today goes.  I am glad its over tomorrow.  FSN I have been parring down and eliminating processed sugars and gluten for quite a while now, meat and dairy are just not things I can give up long term.  I do use all hormone free, organic, etc. when I do buy and eat them though.  My acne has definitely flared up during this cleanse, and period next week, but i hoping in about 10-14 days it will have all cleared up nicely, so we'll see.

I have a phone call at noon and then meetings at 1:30 and 3:30, so no cross fit today.  If I have time I'll do a work out tonight at home.  My oldest DD is on the acrobatic and tumbling team at the University of Oregon and their first competition is tonight.  They stream them live online, so I'll be up a bit later than usual to watch the competition, it doesn't start til 9 pm Texas time.  I'm so excited to see her compete though!!
