Can you imagine? This is what a 9yo was told by the Board of Ed in NYC the other day. http://nypost.com/2014/05/22/nyc-says-this-girl-is-fat/

First of all, I cannot believe they gave those notices to the kids to bring home. That is just insane. INSANE. I would be LIVID. 

Second, this is one of the main reasons why I HATE HATE HATE using BMI as a base. Unreal.

The BMI thing isn't even supposed to be used for kids! Why is NYC so caught up in everyone's home family life.  They are definitely overstepping a lot of boundaries and probably causing a few kids to develop eating disorders.  WTH
