I really want to get a step counter/activity counter. Can anyone recommend one? I was think of fitbit one or the flex, but I haven't heard too many positives on the flex band. Any other good ones out there?

A friend of mine just ordered a fit bit. She said she did some research and it looked like the best thing for what she wanted it for and that is tracking steps.

God luck.

I have a Fitbit flex. I wear it during the day but I could not sleep will with it on (don't wear any jewelry to bed). If you want it to synch all the time you have to have a relatively new smart phone...my Ipad 3 was too old. It does synch with my PC - but I would say check out what you have before purchasing. I ended up buying an IPhone (not due to the Fitbit) and so I can synch whenever I want. I think it accurately counts steps and if I am close to 10000 I will run in place while watching tv to get to my goal. I also enter my exercise and it is easy to do - I do about 6 different things and it keeps favorites. I am not sure how accurate the calorie counts are but for a day to day comparison they are ok - and you can manually enter if you really disagree. I haven't used the food tracker but I plan to start next month (June). I used Fitday last year which is free but it doesn't count steps. Best wishes.

I have been looking at the fitbit and am considering purchasing it for myself. I have seen great reviews about it and I too want something that will count steps.
