What do you bring to the gym with you?

I bring my nook, phone, and headphones. They have water fountains but I've been wondering if I should bring water with me. Then I feel like I'd be dragging everything with me and I don't want to put it in the locker. Do you bring a bag with you? Do you keep it with you?

I exercise at home, but if I were going to the gym I would take something for listening to music and I would take my own water bottle. I might fill it at the water fountain, but I would rather have it with me when I'm exercising than go to the water fountain each time. I would also take a towel. I would take the things out of the bag and take them with me. Do you wear different clothes to the gym, or go in your workout clothes. If you leave your clothes in a locker, I would probably leave the bag in the locker. So much depends on if you can use a lock on the locker. This is part of the reason I exercise at home. So many things I don't have to worry about, but I realize that the gym has much more to offer than you can keep in your home.

Oh, you guys will laugh out loud if you hear what I bring to the gym !! Actually it's not a 'gym'gym. It's an indoor pool I go to. So I have to bring my swim suit, towel, swimming cap and goggles. Also a kick-board and my water bottle. I NEED to shower after the swim, you know, to was off all the chlorine...... so a pouch containing shampoo and conditioner, shower gel and a body oil (I have very dry skin) . Oh,and fresh under garments to wear after the shower. Am I done yet? No. I feel ravenous after the 90 min. long swim session, so I also need to bring a snack (ususally a sugar free, fat free muffin or a banana). I HAVE to use a gym locker as you can understand. I'm glad that we have a very nice locker room and we can use our own locks.

No, I don't change clothes simply because I work from home, so I just run to the gym when I can. ;) I *think* I recall them allowing locks. Honestly I don't walk around the gym, lol. I walk in, scan my membership tab, then make a beeline to the bikes (which happen to be right behind the counter where I'm scanning my membership).

I did buy a neat water bottle/container that has an infuser in it. I may start bringing that with me and filling the water at the fountain when necessary.
