Hi and Welcome! If you can't get through your whole workout-just do what you can and build up. Since you are trying to establish a healthy habit for the rest of your life, make sure your routines are doable. You can always add to it once you get stronger.
Are you making sure you are hydrated before starting your workout? I once read somewhere that the majority of what people think are hunger pains are actually thirst and that some fluids rather than a snack might help.
Keep up the good work-you're on your way to a much healthier life now!
I agree with Freshstart and Karla - do what you can - you will be surprised at how quickly your body adapts and soon you will be finishing those DVDs! Listen to your body - take breaks when needed and do not exercise through pain - it should be challenging not painful.
As for salads, my new favorite right now is butter lettuce, avocado, shaved radishes, grapes and a can of tuna. Then I just squeeze lemon juice and drizzle some olive oil and I have a great filling salad for lunch!
