Cramping triceps!

ThIs is the weirdest thing but after I finish my tricep sets, later on in the day, they cramp up if I extend them back. Like if I stretch back, they'll start to tighten up like a cramp would in your calf. I stretch before and after working out. I use two different sets of light weights, a 3 lb and a 5 lb. I do a bunch of different exercises, not the same ones over and over. I work out 3 times a week. Any ideas of how to stop this?

A foam roller, or anything to roll along them might help.

I guess it's been about a month or two. I eat a banana every day and take a multivitamin with minerals. Yes, I'm hydrated. It's just the oddest thing. Maybe there's a better stretch than the up over your head one? How would I roll my tricep on a foam roller? Maybe on the arm of the couch?

I believe that green peppers have more potassium than a banana, so that might be an alternate source.

The arm on the couch thought is clever.

Or, if you have one of those little 3-legged massagers that were all the rage at Bath and Body Works years ago, that might work too. I have one that vibrates and use it to "rake" my IT band. But then, my IT band is naughty. ;)

I like my running stick, too:

A husband would do, too.
