Personally, I'm an elliptical person.

I just started running last year and have run in two races - it is really fun. I haven't done the elliptical much so don't have much comparison. But I firmly believe that the best exercise is the one you like to do. It is better do domthe elliptical than not run...

I started running for thirty minutes once a week and addded distance, time and days as I got better endurance.

I prefer the eliptical because I have joint pain, and I find the eliptical less stressful on my joints. :(

Definitely the elliptical here. Years ago, mostly because I am stubborn, I trained for a race, ran it, and now I'm done. :D I really WANT to be one of those people who likes running... but I'm not and I accept that. :P

Maybe being an elliptical person or a treadmill person is NOT a choice but something genetic? There are some who are completely elliptical, some who are completely only runners and some who are bi?:smileyvery-happy:
