Did you all see this with Ellen DeGeneres and Michelle Obama?

That's cool :)

Love the healthy role model vibe our First Lady has.

LOL That's a great video - but I do agree on form! I'd have to check since I don't usually do push-ups to fail!

Wow-Ellen does look great! I usually break mine up into 3 sets of 20. My right hand and wrist usually start to hurt after too many in a row.

I know a lot of people who have wrist problems w/ that and the plank.

Thanks Jean-it has taken me a while to build up to that many.We had to do plank rows with pushups a few weeks ago in cross-fit. I uh..well, let's just say I need to work on them. lol

I'd like to know how often every does push ups. I typically do them twice a week but I know people who do them daily. What do you do?

I actually don't do them regularly anymore.

Depending on which way the weights are held (parallel to the body rather than perpendicular) I would think it would shift the focus of the exercise more to the triceps.

A lot of clients I've had couldn't do an actual on-the-floor and on-the-knees push up.

Not so much the direciton of the weight since the action on the arms/body would be similar if your hands are in the same location but if you keep your arms close to your body, that would hit the triceps more. The wider the arms, the more you hit the pecs.
