Do any of you keep a collection of DVDs to do at home or do you just wing it when working out at home? (We've had so much ice and snow lately I've had to skip the gym a lot lately) Well, I wanted to try some new things so I bought a Tai Chi DVD and I got Jillian Michael's YOGA Meltdown. I'm really impressed with the Yoga DVD and found it quite interesting. I actually enjoyed the challenge of it.The Tai Chi was okay but not really what I was looking for. I found it more relaxing and just something to ease boredom.

Do any of you do Yoga? Have you done any other workouts or DVDs you found interesting?

I've done yoga, know it's good for me, but can't get myself to do it consistently.

I've had VHS tapes that I used to do (that's how long it's been)...I used to do aerobics, step, weights, tae bo, and dance at home.

lol I had a bunch of VHS tapes too and finally went to DVD. I have a nice collection of them though I do prefer to go to the gym if possible. I live in a small town though and the first sign of bad weather and the gym closes. It's really irritating but not much we can do about it.

I don't have trouble concentrating and sticking to it if I'm only doing it for a few days at a time. Any longer and I get itchy to get to the gym and find myself cheating, checking email or talking on my cell phone while working out to a DVD.

I've tried Yoga a few times and my karate instructor makes us do some but I've never really been all that into it. I'm determined though to check it out more and I so wish my gym offered classes in it.

I've got a bunch of workouts, Zumba, Hip Hop Abs, Bosu and plain old cardio. I just got Just Dance 2 for the wii and it's very fun and a good workout if you like to dance. I must have more that 40 DVDs but I'll only use 4 or 5 at a time. Then every now and then I drag out an old favorite. There's also FitTv which sometimes has some good workouts. I record the ones I like. :)

It would be great if we could rent workout videos. I know so many people who have a huge collection of them at home.

Cathy-I got Dance Party 2 for the Wii as well for my daughter and she, I, and her friends have had a blast with it. We had a big family get together Sunday night and everyone including my 74 year old mother was dancing.lol

I wish I had Fit TV or Exercise TV but don't. It would be interesting to check out imo.

It really is so much fun, Just Dance 2. I'm just hoping I don't hurt myself somehow, not paying attention as I follow the moves! lol Jean, you used to be able to rent them at Blockbuster. There is a place now but I can't remember the name, Fit Hits? I'll let you borrow mine if you want. :)

Our local Family Videos has a fitness section where you can rent fitness DVDS. I have to say I was quite impressed with their collection when I was browsing the other day.
