Hi DK,

The one thing that is great about my Jumpstart moves are that many of them utilize your largest muscle group, YOUR LEGS, so that means, any moves that don't put any stress on your wrist, lunges, squats etc... do those instead of any movements that require the use of your wrists.

Hi DK, thanks for joining us. I had wrist surgery a few years back and I had to stick to things like squats, lunges, abdominal exercises and a lot of resistance workouts with bands.

Good luck and let us know how you are doing!

I am looking forward to starting Bob's 3 weeks to skinny as soon as school is out. I am going to have wrist surgery though and wonder what type of exercise besides walking I can try. Thanks for any help!

Thank you!!  I have not been able to find the assignments at all - I signed up & never got the e-mails specific to this challenge & am struggling to find my way through the site.  Too much to search through.  Thanks for helping out!

Hi and welcome. I've seen some fitness advice starting on day 2 I believe (Start Your Day With Cardio). He also has suggested adding in some other things like this:

You’re already doing a low-intensity morning workout, which is terrific. But, you can have an even bigger impact on your body by bumping up the intensity – you’ll burn more calories and get slimmer, faster.

Try any of these ideas to step up your routine today:

  • JOGGERS: get moving for 3-5 miles today, either on the treadmill or on your route of choice.

  • BICKERS/CYCLERS: try biking seven miles today.

  • WALKERS: set your treadmill to a #7 incline (or if you’re outdoors, hike on an incline) and go as fast as you can for 30-60 seconds depending on your level. Repeat 15 times and you’ll feel the burn!

I hope this helps. :-)

I am truely enjoying all the great tips and the opportunity to be a part of this challenge, but I was wondering if there were going to be any fitness exercises along with the nutrition advice?

Hi Shannon and welcome! I had my 4th child just before my 35th birthday and it took me a while to get back into shape but I am living proof it can be done. We're glad you have joined us and we look forward to getting to know you better. :-)

I'm Shannon. I'm a 38 year old SAHM. I've got 4 kids ranging in ages from 3 to 21. I've always been able to drop the weight, but after having my 4th child at he age of 35, it's not been too easy this time around. I've lost 40 lbs and a stuck on the last 20. I'm really looking forward to this challenge and being able to fit back into my bikini
