I am getting married this May, and I'm finally fed up with my weight enough to start looking at gyms. I went and looked at one today. I did use 24hr. fitness, but it's around $38 a month where as this Bally has a deal at $18 per month.

So, how's it going, Sarah? Have you found something to do for the winter?

Definitely check out the free trial passes at a gym, and I agree the library is a fab resource!

If you've got snow I'd second the cross-country skiing suggestion, it's fairly affordable, and a great workout!

There's also a site called bodyrocktv.com that has all sorts of workouts - and if you can get past the super skinny scantily clad women, the workouts are actually fun! I like the woman with the english accent - for some reason it seems less like work when you hear a british accent LOL

The library is a phenomenal resource for free instructional dvds and books, and that way, you can have a lot of variety every three weeks!

Hi Sarah! I think I remember you from the Running Women board?
