What do you use for your walking/running/cycling app?

I currently use iRunner https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/irunner-running-jogging-walking/id304074554?mt=8 but wonder what else is out there that might be better.

I used to cycle along the beach with my brother which was a little stressful. We would ride along traffic (in the bike lane) to the beach, ride on the pedestrian/bike path along the beach then travel home on another pedestrian/bike path - constantly dodging pedestrians and other cyclists. Round trip was about 24 miles and it was difficult as my brother liked to keep our cadence up. BTW, don't know how guys cycle with their boy parts in the way......

I use mapmyfitness, I don't cycle at all, but my brothers both do and they both use the app and really like it.

I wonder if that's related to mapmyrun. I used to use that all the time.

I used to use mapmyride, not with GPS but to chart a route to see how long it was etc. It also showed elevations. I think that all of the "mapmy__" sites are connected.

I like using mapmyrun when I travel and want to find good runs in the areas. It's helpful to see what others have done.

Speaking of apps, an interesting thing happened to me yesterday. I went running with my sister. She used the Nike app, I used iRunner. We both started at the same time and ran side by side. We are the same height and have the same stride. By one mile, her app had the time one full minute different than mine. They did not report our mileage the same at any given time. At various mile markers our times were completely different. By the end of the run, her app reported it at 4.5 miles; mine at 4.35 and it was the only time both apps had the same time on them. lol

I've always been surprised at the discrepancy among devices. My friends and I had Garmins (before there were so many apps) and for the same runs, we'd all have different paces/distances.  We thought it might be because we ran in woods and some might have dropped the signals along the way.  Good for you for running 4.5ish miles!
