Wow wow, have you see this news about the US Post Office stopping Saturday mail deliveries? That means no more Netflix on weekends!!! lol Seriously, I'm a bit shocked. I seem to get most of my bills on Saturdays. Do you think this is going to affect your life any?

I don't think it will really bother me much; I pay the majority of my bills online and have gone to paperless billing for those. And I only stream on Netflix; Redbox is now my dvd choice. Most of what I get in the mail now is junk stuff anyway.

I have to admit I am a movie junkie. I stream and get the DVDs. Redbox doesn't have the selection that Netflix does and I look very forward to my Saturday deliveries so we have fresh DVDs for Saturday and Sunday.

Grrr! I guess I'll have a few months to get used to a new schedule. I have to admit I am honestly not surprised that the PO is stopping Saturday deliveries. It seems like they could probably in all reality go down to just a few days a week for home service and most people wouldn't notice it.

In Canada we haven't had post office delivery on Saturdays in many years. No parcel deliveries either. It sucks, but you'll get used to it Undecided

I'm not home on Saturdays anyway but I'm trying to remember the last time I received anything other than junk mail by the PO. Maybe it was all the Christmas cards?  We get our bills online, now, too.

My local utility companies are STILL not online so that is why I still get bills. lol I wonder if it is easier to ignore them if they come by e-mail. ;-)

Definitely! If you don't pay them, they'll eventually send people over to collect and you'll save yourself the postage.Wink

No, I don't think so. Our mailbox is about a mile away from our house so we often don't check it for days. I would be perfectly happy to receive no mail at all. :)

omg, on chrome, I tried to login, and it said that my user name was not found.  :O  So I am on IE, right now.

Anyways, on the news, they reported that packages will still be delivered, so, perhaps, netflix will be included?  Our mail just sends junkmail and bills.  Most of our bills are online.  "The only constant is change."

It's going to take some getting used to, It's strange not seeing mailmen walking around my neighborhood this time of the day.. It won't affect my family per se, but sometimes getting the mail is the highlight of my day, Lol, I have no life!
