I'm so bored with what I can think of but I teach back and back classes and need to refuel. It has to be something I can bring in the car and easy to drink/eat in the car.

I'm lazy - I have a stash 100 calorie prepackaged clif bars and applesauce in drinkable bags in the trunk of my car.

Chocolate milk! It has enough protein, carbohydrates, and sugar to refuel you before or after a workout :)

Welcome to gym rats!. Thanks for the suggestion. Every time I hear that suggestion (which is very often), I'm amazed at how strong the milk lobby/marketers are for promoting it and how it's become ubiquitous for post workout drinks.

I eat in the car frequently and these are the kinds of things I eat... peanut butter sandwiches, chocolate almonds and dried cranberries, babybel cheeses (not a good option for summer), granola bars.

I should stop by Trader Joe's for those types of munchies, plus they have protein powder if I want to make a drink.

Some of my favorite post workout snacks are apples and string cheese; apples and peanut butter; home made trail mix with lots of nuts, dried fruit and chocolate chips instead of m&m's; peanut butter and jelly sandwiches; and Clif or Luna bars.
