Question about hanging leg raises

I'm hoping one of you ladies will have the answers. I know the hanging leg raises are a good exercise, but with or without gloves I just have a really hard time hanging onto the bar for that long - and I can't figure out how to solve that question. I can do my first set, but after that my hands continue to get weaker and slip off the bars. Right now I'm just using an palms front grip, medium width apart, usually on the pull up machine. I can raise the legs no problems, it's my darn arms that give out!
