I'm so "out of it" I had to google it.

It looks like a great core and balance workout, but it hurts my ankles just to look at it...I have too much mobility in all of my joints which lends itself to sprains.

Well, it's supposed to address issues that people have with the BOSU (that it makes the ankles/feet support your weight at unnatural angles). By having the flat surface, your feet and ankles stay in a more "functional" position ("functional" as in, translates to real world movement).

As I think about it, I'm thinking a BOSU upside down, on some kind of stability holder would be ideal. You should be able to adjust that holder to make it more stable so it would be like the step360 or less.
