Ahhh, it's Monday in a fresh new week

Hello everyone. I had such a joyful weekend that I am glad it's Monday and time to get back to life. My new grandson came home from the hospital yesterday and once we got mom, dad, and baby all settled in my husband and I came home and crashed. My daughter went through 23 hours of labor and had a very difficult time but both she and the baby are doing good. My husband used to complain bitterly over the chairs he had to sit in while I was having our babies and now I completely understand. My hips and back are still so sore from spending so much time in a chair. The hospitals really need to put chaise lounges or something in the waiting areas of labor and delivery.lol

We now turn our focus to my daughter-in-law who could deliver at any time!

We have big family plans for this week. 4th of July is the biggest holiday celebration for the family and I am hoping the weather doesn't put a damper on things.

I am going to try to get in a weight circuit this afternoon and then squeeze in a few miles between rain storms if possible.

What are you up to?

It's hard to believe it's July already!  It's a bad situation in AZ with the fires...  smokey in the back yard this morning.  We are not in any danger but it's very sad about the firemen that died.

I've got one client this afternoon and will work on submitting more job proposals.  I'm doing strength training this morning.  I am defintely starting to feel more like myself again after being off the prednisone for almost a week.  My doc approved this and while there's been progress in the tissues healing (which was the point of taking it), it's not where he would like it to be.  He understands though, that this is something I can't do long term anymore.  I'm going to stay on the super low dose antibiotics until early August and then see him again.

Congratulations!  There is nothing like the joy of a new baby...let alone two!    We had a busy weekend, here.  We CLEANED the house, did laundry, worked oucoke docked a nice meal together, visited a friend from California, talked a lot...  I am hopeful that my daughter is going back to school at the same college, despite hER boyfriend not going.  We had a long talk about boys and careers and futures.  Bottom line, though, is that I told her I would support her decision within my "guidelines."

Work today, yoga tonight.  What are you all up to?
