Beautiful sunny morning on Thursday

My dinner program, last night, went very well. There were some very engaging conversations, lots of learning and understanding, and I felt that, overall, it was a success. I'll so got to know one of my customers quite well, I did not realize how much we had in common. You ever meet someone and know quickly that you have such a deep connection with them? I just love that, and find it to be so special. I wish I lived closer to her, because I have a feeling that we would become very very good friends. So, it's another busy workday, and tonight I have Dog-training, since I left my jacket there Tuesday night. In other words, I have to pick up my jacket anyway. I'm just tired, so I'll probably given and have a couple coffee this morning. What are you all up to?

Happy - Answering your question from yesterday's thread...  We're doing two tiers.  The bottom is a yellow butter cake with vanilla buttercream.  The top is lemon cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream.

FSN - Do you ever find it difficult to socialize with work people?  I struggle with this a lot... my clients often become my friends and I want to invite them to things (like my anniversary party) but I don't want to put myself in a situation where my professionalism is compromised.  (And at a party, it absolutely would be.)

Today is ink day!  Very excited but also know that it's the last time for a little bit that I will probably wear shoes.  I'm doing strength training this morning and then heading down to OP's for the weekend.

Hi Fresh,

I have to work my other job later today so once I get done checking out iVillage today I need to get a few things done.

I got 2 inches cut off my hair yesterday and almost had her whack the bangs off too but decided to keep trying to grow them. I think it definitely looks better today. I think the problem is I am trying to wear my hair too long and it makes my face look too thin which makes me feel like I look older than what I should.

I wanted to let you all know what is going on with the log-in issues here. Many of you are getting an "unauthorized" type error message when trying to log in the past few days. It is because iVillage moved all of it's websites to new servers and they are in the process of bringing things back up. Now that the migration of information is complete, we hope to start seeing some changes. Something that may help is to try to sign in at this page: http://www.ivillage.com/user/sign-in and give it a few seconds to go through the process, then go to the board you want to visit. Once you see your name appear at the top left hand corner, you can usually comment or post with no problems.

Summer arrived here today...the outdoor pool at the gym opened this weekend andi spent m enjoyable hour sitting with my book after I worked out. I ran 1.11 miles as my warmup...a little cheat to get to the pool sooner...and lifting and abs, of course.....FSN and Gymrat, someone at work is going through some issues with his father, and it reminded me of the Erma Bombeck column 'When Did I became the mother and she become the child?' I looked for it online but couldn't easily ind it, but it is in her 'If Life is a Bowl of Cherries, what am i Doing in the Pits' book. I highly recommend it...and Gymrat, the cake sounds yummy. I am still on my '900 calorie deficit for 90 day plan, so you don't have to email me a piece...Karla, I think longer hair can be aging, but then mine just gets shorter and blonder every year...

Yes, it's difficult when the business and friendship lines get blurred. One of my customers is a friend, however, she can be high maintenance. If there were no businesslike, I would be much more "Frank. "But, with the business lines, I am much more hands off. i also find that with the peers that I work with. I think that we all have slightly different personalities on a business level and on a personal level. And, therefore, I rarely mix business with pleasure. Therefore, I never see a physician for my own medical issues if their customer. Myhealth comes first, so if I don't like what a physician says, I reserve the right to "fire "them. That wouldn't go over too well if I was also trying to sell to them. Gym rat, your cake sounds divine. Have fun. SJ I'm still jealous of you swimming. Carla, isn't it wonderful getting a haircut. I always feel better after getting a haircut.
