coincidences on Friday

Coincidence? I daughter called me last night to talk about her week, and in the conversation she told me about how some people get sick when they get TTOM. Boom! It's TTOM for me, after Aunt Flo stayed away for MONTHS on end. I was wondering why my afternoon has been so swollen for the last couple weeks. At one point, I even wondered if I was pregnant. . Perhaps that is why I've been so physically exhausted. This menopause "thing "leaves my body guessing at what is going on constantly. Work today, travel to see my mother tonight, deliver dd some soup for her cold, and ballroom dancing tonight. No rest for the weary. What do you all up to this weekend?

Yay - it's Friday! I am golfing on Saturday and going to a barbeque on Sunday. Of course, I also need to do laundry, house cleaning, grocery shopping and get my car washed.

FSN, interesting!  I did not know that.

I've got a client this morning and then I'm going to take the rest of the day off.  Finished up my second relocation project yesterday and I think it wore me out.  Didn't sleep well at all last night and I have no idea why. Planning to help OP with more unpacking today and I need to get to my nails at some point.  We're having Game Night tomorrow so I will need to do some cooking and prepping for that.

Fresh, have you started on HRT yet? My sister's pills were changed to a different dose for the same symptoms you describe. They seem to be helping some. I take HRT and have no symptoms anymore except for some bloating.

I am going out for a run this afternoon and may try to increase my mileage a bit . I will see how I feel. The top of my hip has a slight burn but it could be because I did a pretty good run on Wednesday. I am trying to be ultra careful and not wind up with the same old nagging hip ache again this time.

My daughter is in a wedding so I am going to babysit all this weekend. Pray for me. lol ;-)

Gym, I didn't sleep well either last night so I am not in a great mood today. I had crazy, crazy dreams half the night. Ugg

Hi Stephanie and welcome to the group! I used to golf every weekend until I hurt my wrist. Do you play a lot?

Hi Karla, thank you :) I try to golf about twice a month but with my work schedule I have to go on the weekend which can be a challenge. How old are your daughter and grandchild?

Welcome Stephanie!  I must have been too busy Friday to get here but now I'm trying to remember what I was doing.  How was golfing?  The weather is perfect where I am for that.

Hmmm, now that I think of it I was running from client to client to parkour to client and then to see my son at Parents weekend.  So, it was a pretty crazy Friday.

For now, I have decided against the HRT. Actually, I think I'm on the tail end of menopause. My hot flashes have subsided, but that may be because it's TTOM. I go see an Endo chronologist next month to do a blood panel to check my thyroid. He works with bio identical, which is something many doctors do not do. Also he prescribes for the specific patient issues, and not just to the "average ranges. "He was highly recommended to me by someone who is getting a lot of relief from some of the same symptoms, so we shall see.

Isn't menopause the time AFTER your period ends? Up until then, it's perimenopause?  I've heard symptoms get worst after menopause begins.  I really don't have any yet but am soooo looking forward to the end of my period!

Thank you Jean! Yeah, a friend invited me to golf on Saturday with he and his friends. I was the only girl which was a little stressful but had its advantages too ;) Anyway, it was a beautiful day (about 80 degrees) and I played well :) Sunday, I attended a barbeque with family and friends. I filled the rest of the weekend with the usual house cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping and errand running stuff.
