J, the aurora b. is on my bucket list! Do you have recommendations on when/where to go? That would be awesome. Re: ticket prices, the frugal me is driving to a further-out airport at a horribly early hour to get phenomenal prices...I won't feel so guilty about all of the other money I am spending. :O. GR, stay extra healthy pre-surgery...my work colleague's son is being sent for tons of extra testing to rule out infection because of what may just be allergies. K, how do you like cross-fit? Is this at your regular gym? SJ, I vent a lot on the board -truth is, dh also provides SO MANY pluses in my life...it was he who insisted on getting the "pup" that I train, and he really did it to lift me out of my slump. I never, in a million years, would have ever gotten this dog, but it really was a good solution to my slump. Ok, I am procrastinating about snow lowing and shoveling. Yuck. Oh we'll, it will be a good cardio workout. Then, I am off to work. I may or may not do yoga tonight. Oh, and I started on another One Block Wonder quilt while I wait for lesson #2 on putting it all together. I am waiting for the sale on batting to finish the baby quilt I started for my girlfriend. Ok, really, I love the piecing of the quilt, and so I am not very motivated to do the quilting part. :O. Have a great day, everyone. Stay warm and be safe!!!

Stay warm, FSN!  My mom (in Missouri) has been sending me snow pictures.

I did a cardio workout this morning on the elliptical and I've got one client.  The only other plans for the day are to go on a hot air balloon ride this afternoon.  I am both excited and terrified.  :)

Be careful of your shoulder with all that shoveling! Hope you find some time to enjoy the snow and being inside.

I haven't made plans to see the northern lights, just wishful thinking. I don't know how we'll squeeze it in, plus since we're not sure where my son will be going to school, private or not, so we might need to be saving.  Too much up in the air still!

Frustating day at work today. I have one client who's trying to overtrain herself into serious injury and I can't figure out how to get through to her. At the same time, she expects every exercise we do to be a killer.  I feel like it's almost masochistic.  And, I have another one who won't work hard but then also complains about not seeing results.  I'm just not a counselor and never thought that would be part of being a trainer, as is sales.  When I became one, I had this glorified idea that all I'd do is hit all the muscle groups safely, throw in cardio and flexibility and be done.  Ha.

Work stress vent. I just learned we have a "realignment" on Thursday. Ugh. I have a killer work week next week, too, and am supposed to be planning to work with the VP the following week. I was also asked to be a technology trainer at our sales meeting. But there is a chance I won't be employed next week. To a large organization, I am just a number. I have seen this same scenario played out so many times...I think this will be reorg number six since I started working for this company. I do not feel very motivated. Btw, I met so,eons today whose sister lives in Alaska and just steps out of her house to see the AB...she showed me the fb posted pics! Awesome! Ciao. I guess no matter what happens, I will be fine
