Feeling relieved on Friday

I am feeling so relieved today since yesterday is over. I had a killer workday with my manager parens (who has a huge ego) And then I have an evening dinner program with some really great customers. Needless to say, I left at 6:30 in the morning and I got home at 10:30 at night. I have work today, yoga, some meetings, and then I am either going to dog training or I am just going to chill out. Jean, are you a candidate for monovision contacts? That's the prescription that I got, and although I'm waiting for the fall allergy season to be over before I wear them again, I like mono vision. I also have glasses that are progressive bifocals, and those are okay. My eyes are not very bad I generally don't wear the glasses at all. Carla, have a great time at your race. The story about your running apps reminds me of a new story on the treadmills. The broadcasters tested them and by far it showed a disparity in number of calories burned and distance run. In general, the treadmills exaggerated distancing calories. Gym rat, I love your writing, but I don't like the rude editors. Stephanie, what kind of dog do you have? I love dogs. Make it a great day everyone! :)

Manager parens?  I'm actually trying a variation of monovision right now--one eye for distance but it still works for reading, just not as good; the other for reading but distance isn't quite as clear. It works but I want my young eyes back!  I've worn contacts almost my whole life (since high school) and I hated it but I should have appreciated how easy that was.

I had early morning clients, went to parkour. I'm probably going to silks today because I can't go tomorrow. I scheduled a massage for tomorrow so I decided today is as good of a day to get muscle fatigue and make the best of my massage!

"Manager parens" was a problem with voice annotation.  My manager's ego doesn't fit in one room.  He hijacked some of my selling time, and later recounted that he just wanted to "...show you how it's done."  <ahem>. That's why I have won sales awards and he has not won one...it is so humbling to work for someone who is so arrogacontacts

i, too, have worn contact and glasses since I was 10(?).  I had lasiks done about 10 years ago, and it was SO NICE!!!  I have been "fighting against" having to wear them, again, but I am losing the fight.  :(

yin yoga today, and lots of errands.  The massage really helped with my pulled hamstring, so I think I will do it again this week.  :)

Oh, so sweet!  I just googled cavachon and saw a video ("Dogs 101 on Animal Planet") and your dog is so sweet!  white white/fawn colored or darker?  I just love the dogs!  I have a bull mastiff and boxer, and I always thought it would be fun to have a smaller dog, too, because my bull mastiff is so gentle with the smaller dogs.  :). I just went tthrow hours of Dogtraining, and we are going to be the "distraction" fThea Canine Good Citizen (CGC) class next week.  :)

He is super cute and loves going through the Starbucks drive thru - on my lap of course :) He is mostly white with a hint of fawn. I should probably take him to obedience training one of these days......

Aaaaahhhh, I wish I could do that with my dog, but he's a little too big for that. Lol. I need to do a better job with my training, too, my dogtrainer is actually training one of his dogs to be a service dog. A only 7 months, she puts my dog to shame in the training category. :P
