Feeling tired on Friday

I am so thankful for the three-day weekend, but I have so much to do today. Yoga, work, pack, drive down to see my mom and daughter. Since my husband and stepson are doing the half marathon next weekend, I realize that I cannot visit my mom next weekend. I watch the dogs instead. So I have so much to do.

And I just don't feel like doing it. It's been a long week, with working with my manager, the drama surrounding my daughter moving into college last weekend, just trying to get my day to day life into a routine. Oh well, last night when I saw how bloated I was, I decided to go to spin. I realize that I really need to work out every single day just to maintain my weight. The constant Battle of the Bulge continues. Menopause reeks havoc on the body. Not to mention getting up at 3 AM. G, I guess I'm really winding this morning. Okay, enough. Off to a glorious day. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend. Be safe. DB made me realize I should also plan out my meal so, B. cc cookies (mashed banana, oatmeal, choc chips), decaf coffee with almond milk and stevia S frozen grapes, green smoothie L egg plus egg white on Ezekiel toast S and D. Something "on the road". :(

I'm so relived to have passed that CES test so I'm just vegging today before my next studying tasks. I should be out of school and who would have thought personal training would require so much studying???  I have to say some of the material for the CES was difficult and I wonder if some of these meathead trainers out there could do it.  I'm doing a facilitated stretching course next and am studying to for child specialist level 1 for skiing and working on the level 2 ski instructor exam (three parts, written, skiing, teaching).  I'm also considering the ACE advanced health and fitness specialist. I love the book but am not sure I'm motivated to memorize it.  Plus, I'm thinking of leaving the fitness field some time so not sure it's even helpful.

Fresh, I hear you on the bloating. I even went to the doc to make sure my bloating wasn't some sort of medical problem. I don't have a weight problem but my waistline/abdominal area is just horrible looking. I fluctuate around 5-6 lbs a week depending on how bloated I am. I am working on my diet to try to eliminate some of this.

SJ, so glad to hear from you. I'm dedicating September to buckling down too but I am going to work in flexibility. I've never really had a "flexibility" plan so I want to really try to work on it and see if I can make improvements.

Jean, I'd go back to my old neighborhood and get my hair done. I just hate to spend so much on my hair (and it probably shows-lol) since I wear it up most of the time anyways.

My brother left this morning so I am going to try to walk/jog 5 miles tonight.

I'm feeling a little tired so I am thinking of spaghetti for dinner.
