Freezing Tuesday Journal
Tue, 12-10-2013 - 8:29am

The freezing part is for you east coast or east coast adjacent folks...  Although I believe we may have dipped into the 30's overnight.

Doing a cardio workout this morning and then meeting up with OP.  He's going with me to get my six shots today and then we're running errands.  Doggie is doing much better so we're able to leave her alone now and... thanks to the move, we're just down the street if he needs help.

In the past 24 hours, I've had email conversations relating to writing descriptions for sex toys and redesigning a local real estate website.  If I get both jobs, it will be an interesting juxtapostion.  If I ever say freelance writing is boring, you guys must remind me of this time.  Laughing

I pow-wow'd with best friend over the weekend.  We have eerily similar sinus and allergy issues.  She recommended adding a couple of things to my regimen.  My whole mindset has been to get OFF of drugs but seeing how that's not really working, it's time to change tactic.  She reminded me that it's easy to dismiss allergies as not a serious thing because so many meds are available OTC.  But, there are allergies and there are allergies.  A couple of her recommendations were for pseudophedrine so I feel like a meth-head every time I have to buy them.  Of course, if it cured my allergies and sinus problems....  LOL.

Have a good day, guys.

It's freezing in the Midwest, too!  Last night, even the pup chose  to "hold it in" and run back inside.  :O. I can't imagine how those football players felt last night with no long sleeved shirts on.  Work today, meeting with new lawyer this afternoon.  I am hopeful!  I also have a work test to take tomorrow.  :(. I may take the pup to the mall tonight for a picture with Santa, but I am not sure how I will feel.  We shall see.  :)

LOL Boy oh boy Gym, do you ever find some interesting jobs. I can't say I have ever met anyone who wrote the descriptions for sex toys.

Fresh, I am glad to see that you still have power. We got 3-4 more inches this morning so I spent my morning shoveling and scraping again. I hope this is no indication of how the rest of the winter is going to be. I haven't seen anything like this since the late 70's.

I am taking it easy on the cardio today and will probably do some body weight exercises if I get a chance later today. My older daughter has a stomach virus so I have the grandson until her husband gets off work. I can't seem to get anything done with him around.

I saw on FB that Jean still has no power. I hope she has some sort of alternative heat source.

Jean has probably organized the parkour boys and the dancer girls and is out chopping down trees on the National Mall for firewood...we got snow today but it all melted- yay! Gymrat, don't mix up those assignments or the real estate people will be selling brothels...FSN, I would say 'puupies pictures with Santa?!?' but one of the decorations I took out yesterday is a picture of my mother's Cabbage Patch dolls Dresden in Christmas outfits....that she I guess all people whose kids are grown get a choose the word. How serious is your mother's injury? I went to the gym, swam 100 laps, and did a little abs,.

SJ, you Are probably right about Jean. As for my mother's injury, it turns out she does not have a fracture and that the nurse practitioner read the x-ray wrong. It turns out she has a lot of swelling and the orthopedic specialist diagnosed her with tennis elbow. My guess is that she fell and she doesn't remember. Karla, a couple years ago we got 23 inches of snow. That was horrific. Hopefully, this winter won't be like that.
