Yea! it's almost the weekend. It seems like this week has been going on forever. Work today, chauffeuring daughter tonight, yoga. Last night I got a wild hair up my XXX, And I cooked a bunch of vegetables and quinoa salad. I also gave up caffeine again, to do the cleanse, since My weight has been reappearing. For me, gluten and caffeine seem to be major culprits in weight gain. So, what are everyone's plans for 4 July? I have reconnected with the girlfriend of mine who just bought a house on a lake. So my family is going to go kayaking and boating on the fourth. I can hardly wait. I am hoping that my daughter will reconnect with some of her friends from the town that we used in. She seems to isolated herself to only one friend, and she does not seem to be reaching out to make new friends. I hope Everyone has a wonderful weekend. I'll check back later.

I am just about to cross the bridge to the Cape...leaving my troubles by the side of the road...I will be here all next week. FSN, I saw yesterday your daughter was getting her license..I think that is so important. Gymrat, I am afraid the pool water might be boiling...and good for you on deciding about the prednisone. I watched the NBA draft last night...heartbroken over the Boston trades...I spent my time at work talking about them...I lifted yesterday and today, and ran 2.25 miles last night. The goal for next week is to pay attention to my eating and to move as much as I can...the gym part might be tough because I will have company, but I will do my best. Have a great weekend everyone!

What a looooooooooooooong night! Thursday morning around 9:30 my daughter was put in the hospital for monitoring because her blood pressure was too high. They decided to keep her and induce her labor and my grandson was born this morning around 11:45 am. It was not an easy labor or delivery for my daughter and she is exhausted and very sick. Her  baby is a very healthy 7lb 9oz baby boy.

We are all tired but happy that he is here and her ordeal is over with.

Sounds like a lovely time, FSN!

I've got one client this morning, I see the ENT this afternoon and we're going to see The Heat (the movie) tonight.  OP is having a pool party tomorrow so I'm planning to hibernate inside with games and convince people to join me.

I'm really sore from strength training yesterday so I think I'm going to do an hour of steady state cardio.
