Bbbrrrrrr, it's cold out there!  I am feeling much better, at the moment, but I am stil tired.  Therefore, I am "wobbling" on any workouts at the moment.  i am multitasking, at the moment, with a meeting running in the background while I get ready for work.  Work today, shopping for chicken soup this afternoon.  I am back to eating HEALTHY.  I also got the names of some social service organizations so that I can check for resources for my mom.  She is going to the doctor today because she fractured her forearm, and, yet, cannot remember when/where she did it...but, she "recovered" quickly in making up an answer.  :(. I am wondering what her physician's determination will be, since I don't think she should be driving with only one hand.

what are you all up to this weekend?  I have a couple hundred pages to read in preparation for a test next week For work.

Ugg. It is freezing rain here and I just got an alert to be prepared for power outages for several days. The power has gone off twice already but came back on after just a few minutes. On top of this ice they are saying my area could get up to a foot of snow. This is very rare for where I live and especially for this time of the year.

As you can imagine, people are completely freaked out. I went to get storm food last night (chips, cookies, candy, etc LOL) and there wasn't a loaf of bread or gallon of milk to be found. My sister and I were laughing about the bread/milk situation. We came up with the theory that if you have enough bread and milk at your house then it will ward off any dangerous snow monsters. Obviously since we got to the store late we are going to have snow monsters. Since we can't feed them sandwiches we will have to share our cookies and chips. :-)

No exercise for me today. I am thinking of plopping down on the couch with a book. I have several I have been wanting to read so I think that is what I will do.

FSN, sounds like a few rest days are in order for you...  

Karla, LOL about the snow monsters.  You'd have to think that monsters would probably prefer junk food to salads, right?  

It's REALLY cold here too.  Well, maybe not "really".  But for us, the 40's are very cold and is infringing upon my Arizonan right to wear flip-flops year round.  I've got training this morning and am planning to do some strength training after my latte starts working.  Worked a bit this morning already - 2 drafts of different projects are with clients and I'm waiting for feedback.  I'd also like to do some cleaning today.  Our house is still not quite in pre-Thanksgiving shape.  I'd like to get the final things done.  

It's going to be a pretty quiet weekend for a change.  DH and OP are going to the Santa pub crawl tomorrow while best friend and I dogsit.  The doggie is doing much better.  She's drinking on her own now and walking in straight-ish lines.

Karla, I was in South Carolina during Hurricane Hugo, and our storm supplies were chocolate...lots of chocolate...and board games...and maybe flashlights...and one time I saw people before a storm with a cart full of ice cream...guess they ate it when the power went out....stay safe...FSN, I like how you are at a meeting while getting dressed and posting...and wondering why you are tired....multi tasking at its best...Gymrat, yes, not fair to be 40 degrees in Arizona...Jean, did you go skiing? I wrote a post last night but it disappeared and I was too annoyed to re do it...I took today (and yesterday and Monday) off but I am letting myself be sucked into some work stuff...I am afraid to take my eyes off of things in fear something will go wrong that I could have is a realistic fear, but I wish I weren't such a control freak...but I am on the Cape tonight...went to a Christmas concert which was lovely and have other low key holiday moments planned. I went to the gym yesterday...20 minutes. On bike, lifting for shoulders, bis, and tris, and then went to Zumba. Today I did abs and legs...I am well on track for my 'work out every day in December' goal. Have a great weekend everyone!
