It's like fall hit suddenly!  I'm teaching step this morning and that's about it. I'm just so low in energy these days.  Once I get moving, I'm fine but I have to get motivated to move.  I'm seriously thinking of hiring someone to rake the leaves this year. I don't want to deal w/ it and it's discouraging to rake 15 bags of leaves and then have more fall overnight where it looks the same again.  LOL, one reason I loved the house was the huge oak trees out front.

Wow, the World Series! That's pretty exciting. Who knew that you would make such an impression on a kid--and he would remember you for it---talk about paying it forward, and now it has come back to you. It really shows how our actions can have a greater impact than we could ever imagine.

I used to be into watching sports but stopped a few years ago. I should get back into it, just so i can talk to some of the clients. That's the conversation in the mornings and I'm always left out. I'm not vested enough inmy job to care.

I always liked sports a little, but when I first moved into management, I was the only woman on the management team...and somewhat younger than the others. They included me in things like lunch invitations, but I often has nothing to say, so I felt left out. I felt like they knew so much...I decided to start reading the sports page and I found out theybdidn't know much more than they had read that morning. And I started watching more broadly, and I was hooked. There is a lot of human interest to it, and I liked that. It has served. Me well.
