We're rounding up to the crazy weekend of dance recitals--tonight through Saturday night.  Did I tell you all we're going to California next week for 1 1/2 weeks?  So. I'll be around this weekend and then out.  It's going to be a crazy busy summer!

I'm teaching tabata circuit this morning. It's supposed to be step but I wasn't feeling like coming up w/ a routine and they do too much step as it is.  Oh, that article on parkour in the Washington Post was published today.  Crazy big picture of me.  Yay... The funny thing is I'm by far the worst one in the class!

California? That's where were thinking of going. Don't get me started on the passport issue with my son. My husband and I have vastly different philosophies on raising children and consequences. His priorities are having a fun family vacation, not teaching lessons. Anyway, our current conversation is on San Diego, swimming with the dolphins and zip lining. We might also look at some real estate, as we have our sights on retirement In the distant future. I took the day off to drive my daughter to her work gig. it Should be really nice day, albeit a very long one with Lots of driving. Tomorrow, I work, and then we drive for the weekend to see my mom. Again, a lot of driving. Life is short, so do everything you can.

LOL Jean, I saw that picture and loved it. How fun for you!

Fresh, my husband is all about the family fun too regardless of who needs to be taught what.

I have a crazy busy weekend starting tonight with a double header ball game. It's going to be hot for the next week so I am going to attempt to take my granddaughter swimming at some point. She's not been allowed in the past but hopefully her doc will give her the okay this year.

Lots to do so I probably won't make it to the gym today at all.

Jean, I saw the photo too!  Pretty cool and you are such an inspiration.

FSN, you have my sympathies on the son/vacation thing.  I think I would really struggle with that.

Karla - I hope you're able to go swimming with the kiddo!

I'm a bit zombiefied today.  Didn't get to sleep until about 1:30 a.m. (home late from the concert) and I don't do the whole sleeping in thing very well so I was up about 7.  I've got one client this afternoon and I think I'm taking a rest day today.  I've got errands to run so I'm going to try to get that done this morning.  I'm feeling somewhat better today.  I spent part of the afternoon and evening with my best friend... I was in desperate need of a boy-free evening.

That article was in the paper today and the picture was huge!  Fear--up close and personal.  I can't get over the comment about how tai chi would be a better option. Yeah, old people shouldn't move too quickly.Tongue Out

I am in a crappy mood today..I am working hard for people who are ungrateful...I long for the beach...good thing I have no dogs or kids or husbands because someone would be getting yelled at tonight...I sat at the pool for the. Second time this year next to this guy who talks and talks..about himself. He isn't talking to me, but I can't help hearing him and it was annoying...anyone got some cheese to go with my whine? I went to the gym, lifting for shoulders, bis, tris, abs, ran 1.5 miles in 20:04. I hope everyone has a great Friday.
