It feels like glorious end to our staycation! Yesterday, we did a great ziplining tour of the canopy forest. It was a BLAST! Then, we had a fabulous meal where we were thoroughly entertained while learning cooking skills from a local chef. This morning, we are going to a local yoga studio, then, we pack up and return home for the weekend. Oh! And I "played" with my camera and got some great night shots of the lake and the hotel lights reflecting on the water. I can't wait to see all of my pictures!!! What are you all up to? Karla, how is your mom doing? I will have to remember the honey elixir. I think Jean is e route to SC. Gymrat, do you use any lumbar support in your car? It's annoying, but I have to pull away from my seat and pinch my shoulder blades together and suck in my gut while driving. SJ, soggy shoes?! Yuck. I still think fondly of your lap swimming, thou...one day.... I can't wait to get hme to see my pups!

FSN, sounds like a lovely time!

I'm seeing one client this morning and also doing some sort of strength workout.  I'm hoping to do legs but my asthma has not been cooperating.  I see both the ENT and allergist on Tuesday morning.  We're having dinner with some friends tonight.

I do not use lumbar support.  I worry that lumbar support would just encourage my shoulders to slouch forward.

We are still having glorious weather here but that is supposed to end tonight with rain. Fresh, I am glad to hear you have had such a great staycation.

SJ, I think wet shoes caused my blisters. I hate having wet feet. The rest of me can get wet and I'm fine but you let my feet get wet and I'm miserable. I think I have ultra sensitive feet anyways.

Gym, two years ago I spent a fortune at the chiropractor because of serious back ache that had grown steadily worse for months. It got to the point where I was taking so much advil/tylenol I thought I was going to damage my kidneys. By pure accident, I discovered what the real problem was. It turned out the culprit was the office chair my kids had gotten me for Christmas. It had a special contour seat that wrecked havoc on my lower back. I now have a flat wooden chair at my desk and it works great. After doing some research I discovered that those contour seats cause many people problems and they don't even realize it.

Jean, the bathroom looks great! I love the colors.

Ok, does anyone have any cheese? Because I am whining....it rained again today...I feel like summer is over, with three days of rain in one week...I am not on my way to the Cape. I would say I 'have to' go to a party tomorrow, but of course no one 'has to' go to a party, but it is more something I am doing for my dad than because I want to...it is his 'friend's birthday...my office is moving, and our space is being drastically reduced, so we have to throw stuff away. I feel like I am throwing away my whole career...I don't need any of the stuff I am tossing, but it is the result of a lot of labor...and it reminds me that we used to spend time doing hints right, now it's all about just getting it done, fix it later...this makes me sad. Also, I have a really lovely space now, and I am losing that - we will all be in small spaces. I have a lot of 'toys' people have brought me over the years that I display seasonally, and there will be no room for that. So today I took my toys, and went home. I left early to treat myself to a frapicino and a mani/pedi. I've been working on my weight, so haven't had a frapucinno in months...and this one was not good...not thick enough. And I am not happy with the polish I chose...I usually have sparkles, and This one has white dots. The woman would have done it over if I asked, but my rule is that I keep whatever I choose - its only for a week...but I haven't made it to th manicurist all summer either, so this is a disappointment...and yes...first world problems...my life is blessed and I know it...hope the sun shines on everyone this weekend...so my shoes dry out!

Sorry you missed your trip to the Cape!  And, downsizing is hard at work, too. I never worked anywhere long enough to decorate and feel at home, or maybe I didn't bother?  I don't think I ever had anything I wasn't given.  But, I think the longest I ever held an office job was 3 1/2 years.  Hmmmm, I'll bet that says something about me.
