Grass needs to be cut Friday

Wow, it is amazing what a little sunshine and a lot of rain will do for one's yard. I am going to have to get the grass cut for the first time this year. I have to go get gas for the mower and trimmer and get at it while we have a few days sunshine. It's not real warm today but it is going to rain again next week. If I wait too long I won't be able to get the mower through the grass.

It's household chores for me today. I may try to get to the park to do a few miles later but it is really cool today. I will probably wind up on the treadmill.

Leftovers for dinner.

What is everyone else up to?

Grass?! All I see is brown yuck. My sinuses are telling me that spring is around the corner, though. Silks sound like FUN! And Jean, I really don't see anything wrong with altering exercises so you get a better workout. In yoga, we are taught to just listen to our own bodies and "take it to your edge", whatever that may be. I went for a groupon massage today, which was followed with a chiropractic evaluation with X-rays. They also took my pulse and said it was definitely lower in my right arm, where I have the pain and numbness. We shall see what he comes up with. They seem to be very aggressive with working the insurance companies, so I may get some work done. After all, the md docs want to take out a rib...maybe chiropractic work could help me. Lots of trip preparation this weekend, along with a quilt meeting, and some Linedancing. Busy weekend.

A circus themed wedding would be awesome!  I'd love to get married on silks.  Have fun tomorrow.  I'd love to hear about the reception.

Oh, speaking of circuses, this was in the Washington Post this week.  A good part of it is about my instructor.  I've posted it on FB so sorry to those of you who've seen it.

We just paid a lawn company to grow our lawn because it was looking really bad but I'm so not looking forward to taking care of it!  Lawns are the biggest waste of resources and we have 1/3 acre.  What was I thinking when we bought our house and insisted on a big yard???

I had some early morning clients and then did the 401pk class (parkour for old people).  It's a decent workout and nice to do something different.  I need to get back to stuff like that. Oh, how annoying is it for someone to make an exercise harder than the instructor gives, as long as it's on the same lines?  I like when people do it, as long as it's safe and not disrupting. Today, we were supposed to do hangs but I was so bored I added leg raises, to the front and side, and pull ups to it.  I refrained from taking the half plank to the floor but was really tempted.  I need to accept that every exercise isn't going to be the most challenging and just deal. I don't want to make people feel bad and I'm not trying to show off, I'm just bored.

What is this grass you speak of?  Cool  I must admit, although I thought it was really weird when we moved to AZ, I love our gravel "lawns."

I'm doing a strength workout this morning.  Feeling better but tummy still feels kind of angry.  We're going to go see the movie Trance later on today.  Tomorrow night, we're attending a wedding reception with a circus theme.  My friends got married in December and are just now doing the reception.  Should be interesting and fun.  Hot dogs and ringmasters... what could go wrong?!?! Laughing
