It is Wednesday already

I have been so busy this week that I can't believe it is Wednesday already! The weather couldn't be more perfect in my part of the country and I have gotten in some great walks this week.  Hubby and I are both home for the day so we will probably work on the yard and then grill out for dinner.

What is everyone else up to today?

I have lots of work to do today, but I'm also going to get in a yoga class and go line dancing. It's time to do some things to put a smile on my face. I also bumped into someone who takes ballroom dance classes, so although the spring session is ending, I may look for either a summer session or a fall session to join. I feel a little ADD with all of my activities that I want to do... Line dancing, ballroom dancing, photography, quilting, Traveling, Dog therapy work... Can I retire? There is not enough time to do all the fun things. :O

How are your daughter and DIL doing, Karla? Any news on the baby tront?

I had early morning clients and then went to zumba. I've been having the weirdest sleep patterns lately where I sleep all night one or two days and then am awake most of a night. Normally, I'd go to sleep fine, wwke in the middle of the night for a couple of hours and then fall asleep again.  I need a nap now!  I might go to silks tonight but will see how I feel.  I really had fun rowing last night. The weather was perfect, it was early evening and we actually got to row more. I can't wait until we row the whole time!

I am posting while I can...last night I posted once on the Ivillage page...and then couldn't post anywhere else. This is getting really annoying...I am not sure I even have anything to say...We had an all day women's forum for work today...after 35 years in the work force, I thought I would be done being a woman by I felt like I had to attend...we had good speakers but the whole thing feels a little 'fake'' to me...I work at a very male company - at least at the top - and a lot of 'women's issues' to them are parent issues...I asked a question...of a male panelist - that challenged the assumption that only women care about flexibility and quality if life issues..and got a lot of positive feedback. So that made me workout today, but I did get my nails done...priorities....hope everyone has a great Thursday. FSN, I am with you on the retire so you can have more fun thing...jean, I am surprised you don't fall into bed exhausted every day...actually I think that of all of you...but Jean is the only one of us whose idea of work/life balance involves swinging on silks....

Yeah, it doesn't seem to get better here. I hope iVillage fixes it before they lose their audience.  If I weren't so entrenched here w/ all of you, I might have moved on.

I'm the epitomy of work hard/play hard. It's rare that I don't find down time during the day to do nothing.  I think it's important to listen to your body, although I also find that the "body in motion stays in motion; a body a rest stays at rest" to be true. If I lie down too long, it's hard to jump start and get going again.
