It's a beautiful Tuesday!

Odd day yesterday, off and on heavy rain, beautiful cool weather then hot and humid, all alternating. We did have rowing and I ended up being the coxswain (that's one of the weirdest words written vs spoken). The most boring job in the world when the group is just learning to row.  No workout at all for me yesterday because i sat in that cramped box for two hours doing almost nothing.  Who are the people who choose to do that for fun???  We're rowing again today, not much of a workout but I'm going to mulch with two year old mulch that has been sitting in the rain.  It's so heavy it took my husband and son ito move a bag.  What are you all up to today?

Rowing?!  You sure do a lot of new, fun things! Ok,I officially dislike my new manager.  He is young, arrogant, and has a lot to prove.  He tells me to do "A, B, and C", so I do it, and then he tells me that I really need to work on, "D, E, and F."  Really?!  He's never won an award, but he lectures me on how I need to change.  Ugh.  Small man's complex.  I will try not to focus on the negative.

BTW, Jean, your son cleans up nice!  How did you do with him going off to senior prom?!  I felt a "passing of time."

As for new drinks, gymrat, my new drink is a salty watermelon - UV salty watermelon vodka (currently, I can only find it at Woodman's), with homemade limeade (it must be LIMES).  YUM.  I mix mostly 50/50 lime juice and water, with a dash of agave sweetener and one stevia packet.  Since I love watermelon, I love this new drink...so refreshing!

Tomorrow night, I go linedancing.  Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwww.  :D

Oh yeah.  Did it hurt on the foot? I heard it's more painful on bone.  I remember Jen having to avoid the sun or something, too, with hers.

I've never heard of fluffy balls but just looked them up. They look pretty but I don't think I could be bothered to do all that work!  Maybe that's an advantage of kids--child labor.  Why can't you wear shoes or sweat? Did I miss something last week?

Re: yesterday's discussion of tattoos...  Everyone is different but mine are all meaningful to me.  I already know they probably won't look wonderful in 20 years but neither will my face.  I figure (and this is me being zen about aging which is subject to change) that I will have earned the wrinkles, crows feet and weathered tats.  *shrug*  Besides, I love art and it's pretty awesome to have it with me at all times.

Off again today but have a hair appointment this morning and checking out rental homes with OP this afternoon.  DH is working on some cocktail recipes for the anniversary party so he's going to test them out on us tonight.  We bought decorations yesterday.  We bought this thing that is literally called Fluffy Ball which is essentially a hundred layers of crepe/tissue paper that you have to separate...  holy cow.  It takes quite a while. DH and I sat in front of the TV last night "fluffing".  We bought 12 of them so we aren't finished.

I'm not supposed to wear shoes or sweat but I can't not work out all week so I'm going to do a barefoot strength workout today on my step 360.
