These weeks are flying by!  There is a two hour delay in school and I'm waiting to see if I need to teach. I'm guessing they will have classes.  I'm also taking an aerial silks semi-private and then teaching dance conditioning.  I don't think I've done much cardio, other than teach since ski season started!

Ah yes.  I remember those days of living in Midwest where it's hurry up and wait to see if you have to go anywhere.  Can't say I miss that.

Karla - How are you holding up?

FSN - Are you looking forward to your vacation with DD?

Happy - What's your favorite thing about being back stateside?

I slept well last night!  Yay!  It was beautiful.  I'm having some side effects from the antibiotic so I think the doc is going to give me a new one today (one of the many advantages of having the doc's cell and being able to text "Hey, is this normal?").  Still planning on resting.  I've got a hair appointment tomorrow with a new stylist so I'm kind of excited about that.  I think we're also planning to stop in at a friend's game/craft night tomorrow evening.  We're doing a food festival on Saturday so resting today is probably a good idea.

Jean - I think skiing is cardio...my heart would be pounding...Gymrat, glad you are feeling better. It is nasty snowing here...mixed with rain. I think the thing I am happiest about is to be back to my own gym. I really missed the social aspect of working out. Ans basketball...the Celtics have won three games since I've been back. What I like the least is the realization that I have too much stuff...I am too attached to things, and have a hard time throwing things away that are still 'good'. This weekend, I am making a plan to do a big clean out. I went to the gym tonight - 12 minutes on bike, lifting for shoulders, bis, tris, abs. I am sore in the good way....

Tried to start a Friday thread and I was locked out. Ugh...software bugs. Welcome back SJ to all things American! Jean, swoosh to your last ski runs...enjoy! It sounds like the east got dumped on? Gymrat, are you breathing through your nose yet? Karla, how is your family doing? Prayers for you! I am so relieved it's Friday, once again. I really ENJOYED working with the executive yesterday. He was so down to earth, and we really hit it off! Hopefully, I didn't make any career-limiting statements, as I was just "myself". Age has given me so much more comfort. Sooo, work today, some legal follow-up, and YOGA. I may make yoga a daily practice, as I need the mental as much as the physical workout. I can't believe how fast time is flying these days. Next week, my mom has her surgery, and we leave a week from Saturday for Florida. :O. I seem to be living one day at a time because each day seems so jam-packed. I still haven't gotten around to therapy dog work because I have been too busy...I really thought that as an empty nester, I would have more time on my hands, but, again, I was wrong. C'est la vie. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND! I plan on getting some quilting done. How about you?!

Hi Girls-I'm alive. Besides the 5 inches of ice and snow, my family has had a quiet week. My daughter-in-law went to the doctor and they told her the complete bedrest is helping her situation with preterm labor and the baby's heartbeat is strong so we are just taking it one day at a time.

I wasn't able to make it to cross-fit Wednesday night because I was so sick with chills, throat, etc. I can't seem to shake it so I've decided I need rest and chicken soup more than anything.

Jean, I bet you have legs of steel from all that skiing!
