I really do wish it was sunday!

How are you ladies doing?  Sorry I pooped out there for a bit.  Had a nasty little car accident complete with a nice concussion and out of commission car.  So **yay** to that.  ugh.  Doing better now - I can wash my hair without crying and can get back to regular workouts this week - thank goodness!!

I'm actually doing something exciting for work today!  After I teach this morning I'll be heading across the state to look at a yoga wall :)  So cool!  If all goes well, we'll be purchasing one for our club and it can be used for so many things - do you guys know about these?

Omgosh-how horrible! I am glad to see you are back with us and doing okay.

It is going to rain today. I spent yesterday working on my mother's yard and ours so it is definitely looking a little better around the outside of the house. I still have much weeding to do but knowing that it is going to be warm and rainy all week I figure I'll just wait. lol

My daughter's 14 birthday is this week. So far I am planning on taking her to get highlights in her hair and then taking her and some friends to roller skate on Saturday. I didn't even know they still had roller rinks (and my kids have always had roller blades not skates) but they do in a nearby city. We are going to make a day of it and hopefully it is fun.

I'll be doing a weight circuit tonight. Probably salad and leftover grilled chicken for dinner since hubby has to work tonight.

Dancin - Sorry to hear about that!  Car accidents are awful.  Glad you are doing okay.

Karla - That's a great plan for your daughter.  I'm sure it will be a great day for her.

I got my cardio in already this morning (intervals on the elliptical).  I only have one client this afternoon but my mom is flying in on Wednesday so I have a bunch of things to do.  None of them are terribly large things but a lot of them make for a rather long list.  And of course, I have to bad habit of classifying things I want to do as things I "need" to do.  Trying to work on that.

Sorry to hear about the car accident!  Glad you're doing better!  How scary.

What is a yoga wall?

I had some early morning clients, went to zumba.  I'm headed out to my son's tennis game now since I haven't been to a game this season and it's almost over.  Yikes.

What a nice present for your daughter!  My daughter really wants to have her hair ombred, red at the bottom. I'm on the fence about it because it can look really brassy after a few weeks.

I went to a seminar years ago, something about want to, choose to, like it, love it.  Basically if you do something it's because you want to do it so you've chosen to do it. If you choose to do it, you should like it or love the result. Or, something along those lines.  It comes down to the idea that everything we do is a choice and we choose the consequences that come with it so we should love the decision and outcome.

Oh, here it is:

Anyway, 80's preachiness aside, how are you feeling?  Are your sinuses better?

Thanks for the article.  I'm feeling decently.  Still on the antibiotic though so the test comes when I'm done with it (which is on Thursday, I think).  It's wildflower time here.  It's beautiful but makes for a lot of allergies.  Considering that, I'm doing wonderfully.

Scary day here in Boston. I met my brother one street passed the Marathon finish line...we were walking down Clarendon street when we heard the explosions. He ran about a minute and a half faster per mile this year than last...had he been on last year's pace, he might have been at the finish line or not able to finish....but we are safe....many people are not as lucky. The world seems ugly today.

I don't know if it's my age but world is seeming increasingly scary to me in the last couple of months.

Happy, glad you and brother are safe.

The runners were actually mostly ok..it is the spectators who took the brunt of the explosion. About 17,000 of the runners had finished. It was perfect race conditions..but another 9000 were on the course. last year was so hot, and today was just beautiful. we were at the Runners Expo yesterday, and it was not laid out well..we had trouble finding the exit and I thought 'if anything happened here, it would be horrible. People wouldn't get out'. They are reporting on the news here that there might be a suspect at one of the hospitals. I feel so sorry for the runners who trained and didn't get to finish....they are having trouble uniting runners with their bags...hotels are in cordoned off areas...our cell hone service is shut off. It is ironic that my brother retired this weekend....I don't think we have won the war on terroe. However, I REFUSE to be afraid...the terrorists goal is to make us feel terror... I Refuse to comply...
