Monday exercise with Lester and Jenna

My sister is a Today Show enthusiast and she's been jotting down workout ideas from Jenna Wolfe. We tried several out yesterday at the gym and my back is feeling it today. lol It is a good feeling though because I can tell I put some effort into it.

I have lots of paperwork for the family to fill out and tidy up today so I'll be working on that. I told you all about the mountain of paperwork and receipts I have been trying to reduce didn't I? Well this weekend I shredded every bank statement, canceled check, deposit receipt, and paycheck stub from 1994-2000. I can't believe I have kept all that stuff-organized in boxes at that! My mountain is shrinking fast and I'm down to about a mole hill now. ;-)

I'll just be doing cardio tonight at the gym.

Gosh, you are are SO EFFICIENT!  Are you type A?!

I am definitely feeling better, and know, now, that from now on, the flu is just going to take me more time than most to recover from.  I am THINKING about doing a spin class tonight, but I am also thinking NOT, as I am still tired from my flu recovery of 18 days thus far.  :(  I may try yoga tomorrow, as well.  Work today, more preparation for a big meeting tomorrow.

At least I got about 20 digital scrapbook pages done.  Geez.  I take a LOT of pictures!!! I am  not even halfway done for 2012, and I have several years of catch up, too!

What is everyone else up to?

B green smoothie, chicken breast

S cucumbers, cheese and crackers

L soup and sandwich

S protein smoothie?

D ? grilled veggies with egg whites

Karla - Good for you!  My husband started scanning stuff a few years back which requires virtually no storage space.

FSN - Was it confirmed that you had the flu?  I would suggest skipping spinning and doing some low to moderate cardio before attempting something as intense as spinning.

I'm off today and will be attempting a strength training workout (first one of the new year!).  There's also a bunch of things at home that need doing.  Tonight, we're going to a wine class where they feed us dinner too so that should be fun.  :)

LOL, it seems like all that shredding would be a good cardio workout!

It's been too frustrating trying to get in here lately.  I can't even count the number of times I have to relog in before I can finally post.  I made it to Zumba today, after skiing the weekend. Doing the kids learning center is the hardest workout since we repeatedly ski up the hill to them to lead them down.  I was dripping sweat after teaching class!  I'm supposed to teach tomorrow but not sure whether the mountain willl be open. It's looking pretty sad.:-(

How are you feeling now?  Better from the flu? I'm sure the wine/alcohol will help kill any lingering bacteria!

Well, I decided against the workout. Yeah, I am definitely on the mend...very slowly. Based on how I feel, I may or may not go to yoga tomorrow. :). Ski season is over already??? That went be fast! You sure did take advantage of the time, though.

No, ski season just started but it's been really warm lately and the snow is melting fast. It is open today and they should be able to make snow in the next couple of days. It's been a bad winter for skiing so far.
