As I explained my daughter this morning that I was not, "feeling the love, "she reminded me of why she wants to find a location that she really enjoys. It's such a trade-off between making a good living and being comfortable, and finding something you love. Or, perhaps, you can combine the two of them. In my case, I did not. C'est la vie. I did a couple yoga classes this weekend and I am feeling the soreness all over my body. I am back to eating healthy, with green smoothies, and lots of vegetables. I have also been doing the lateral elliptical along with yoga. My daughter goes back to college at the edge and that the week so I'm a little sad, but I'm also little happy. My stepson started school today, so all weekend he worked on the project he was to work on all summer long. I'm glad he's going back to school, as well, so you can stop making 1 million messes in my house. What are you all up to?

Yeah, We stayed in really nice places for the most part in Costa Rica, definitely not seeing the country as a native.  We went from a really great place, rain showerheads, all glass overlooking Monteverde and the Nicoya Bay to a surf shack on the beach. It was like a surf community, a few beds in every room, run down, not well maintained. A place I like to say you need to keep your contacts out in the bathroom so you don't really see the dirt.  It really bugged me how much my family (including me) disliked it.  I want to travel but I want the cleaned up version of it and I love to be pampered, as much as I like to think I'm adventurous. My sister would have loved the place.  I'm a priss.  At the same time, I also know it's the tradeoff--less travel so I can do it more prissy high end.  I know people who've packed up and traveled for a year or more and they do the low end stuff so they can afford it.  I would love to do that...in theory.

Yes, I guess this is a, "first world problem."  But, I love my vacaCaron's where I can stay at a downtown hotel, go whale watching, and eat out at rice restaurants!  In my cognitive dissonance, I have intellectualized that power is choice, and the funds give me some choice.  C'est la vie.

Gee, gymrat, what a giant pain in the a$$!  At least you have the antibiotics to get you through sounds the event sounds marvelous, but hot!  I thought of you as I looked at dd's stuffed animals that she says I can give to goodwill. If you were closer, I would just give them to you.  Enjoy!

Karla, I am the same way about dental work...which is why I am 3 months overdue to see my dentist. Just a cleaning leaves my jaws sore for two days, and I know I have a few cavities that may turn into crowns and root canals. :(. Can't the dentist give you some pain meds? Yuck!

Is it something you've always had? Maybe you need to get a plastic bubble?  Even better, plastic bubblewrap.  How long does the shot last (can we call it the bubble shot)?

It'll get me through BM, at least.  I got some news today that explains a lot of this... my allergist ordered blood work to check my immune system levels.  They are practically non-existent.  That would be why I keep maintaining low grade infections.  The solution is an injection called pneumovac.  It's like an articfical immune system that is supposed to help stimulate your own immune system.

We had a miscommunication on time.

Ugh, but at least if you get antibiotics in time, you'll be fine by BM, right?  What a headache...literally (sorry I didn't make the pun intentionally but I'll keep it). Was there a miscommunication w/ your client, or did he/she just decide to show up early?

Ugh, I hope it feels better soon. I really hate that numb feeling.  Dentistry really hasn't seemed to come very far when you consider how much improved limb replacements are!

I'm pretty sure I have a sinus infection.  My ENT is calling in antibiotics to get me through Burning Man.  *sigh*  When I get back, I have an appointment with my friend's ENT for a second opinion.  So tired of all of this.

My client showed up 90 minutes early today so I wasn't really prepared but I went ahead and trained her since she was already there.  No workout.  It's been tough enough to get the things done that I need done let alone exercise.  Frown

Oooooooo Ooooooo....... can you tell I am whining? I had dental work done today and I can't think straight. My face/teeth are so sore. I am such a dental wimp. I broke a piece off a tooth last week and when I went in to get it checked, he found an additional cracked tooth so I had them both fixed this morning. Ugg I feel like someone took an ice pick to me.

I may try to get in a few miles later today but for now I'm just sitting here feeling sorry for myself.
