Move it on Monday

So much to do, so little time!  I sprained my wrist this weekend, and am so down over all of my injuries.  I decided to rest the wrist and opt out of my Sunday yoga class, although I went to Saturday yoga where I first realized how bad my wrist really is!  I downloaded a new book, did the stationery bike, worked on quilt design, did some photography post-editing, put my thoughts together for court, and decided to go see my mom this weekend - a friend of hers contacted me over her concern for mom's decline.  I am sure it is worse than either of us thinks because my mother is a master of disguise!  DH is my rock.

Work today, maybe I will work the pup tonight.  Boy, it's cold.  How is everyone else holding out for the week?

LOL, your presence is sending tremors through the whole Catholic population!  I've been meaning to read about it and why he's resigning. I never knew they could resign. I thought it was a lifetime penance. I mean, job.

New babies are fun!  I'm going to be the overindulgent grandmother.  Glad you were able to take your mind off your FIL for a little, at least.

It's really warm here, too.  So odd, given what the NE was just hit with!

Glad you're feeling better w/ the antibiotics? When is the surgery and how long is the recovery?  Oh, can you get a new nose if you want? I know people who've done that.  Not that you need a new nose but it would be tough if I had to decide.  Try to recreate the old one, or go w/ a newer model.  I'd go new.

Sorry to hear about your mom. Is she living alone?  Did you all have a plan of action?  It must to hard to deal w/ it all from a distance, too. What did you do to your wrist?

I had a busy ski weekend, as usual, and am there tomorrow, too.  I had a few clients this morning.  I think I'm burning out with all this training.  I did one new client this morning and really had fun training him but the others are becoming same old, same old. I'm still working hard with them but it's becoming old. LOL, or maybe it's like a relationship where the newness wears off after a while and I've never gotten to this point before.  But, then again, I think, few people love their jobs all the time, just suck it up and stop whining.  OTOH, the supervisor at the ski resort told me yesterday that a student from a class I taught called up and specially asked for me to do a private.  He said it has never happened before from a group lesson so that was nice!

No workout for me today. I need to rest after a weekend of skiing and for tomorrow.

LOL SJ, what have you done to Catholics across the world?

My daughter is due July 5. Some time in the next two weeks we will find out what my daughter-in-law is having. Are you anxious to get home or will you miss Poland?

Karla - remind me when your daughter's baby is due? I heard the pope is resigning..I hope not because he learned I was attending mass in Poland each Sunday....I went to the gym, 20 mi utes on the bike, then lifting for chest and back, with some abs thrown in...

Ew-so sorry to hear about the wrist. How did it happen?

It is freakishly warm and windy here today. I know we must be in for something because it is just way to spring like outside.

FIL seems to be stabilizing so he didn't completely consume my life this weekend. We actually got a few things done. I bought the absolutely most adorable baby boy outfits for my daughter. I was going to save them for her shower but couldn't wait to give them to her. LOL

Thanks, Gymrat, I am sinking with the thought of my mother's demise.  :(  C'est la vie...I just try to keep moving forward.

FSN, sorry to hear about your mom.  That must be really tough.

I am off today... just a laser/electroylsis appointment and I'll do a cardio workout.  I'm feeling mostly decent thanks to the new round of antibiotics.  What's weird though is that normally, my instinct is to rest as much as possible when I'm sick, except this time, resting isn't going to make me better.  Only surgery will.

I had a lovely weekend.  We had a work party on Saturday for Burning Man.  We bought a used billboard sign and are repurposing that for our shade this year.  This was the first test.  It was successful and it was a lot of fun hanging out with the group.  Yesterday, we had family day and watched TV.  It was very relaxing.

Breakfast: sandwich

Snack: latte

Lunch: veggie korma

Rest of the day: ??
