Moving on, or moving it Thursday

I'm so lethargic now that I'm not skiing! I don't know if it's exhaustion finally setting in on too much for too long, sadness that it's over, the cold weather or a combination.  I'm teaching step this morning, have an aerial silks semi-private in the afternoon and teaching dance conditioning at night. Thursdays are my killer day.  What are you all up to?

Sounds like a long day, Jean!

My mini-vacation is here.  We're leaving late morning.  It'll be nice to be in cooler temps (it's been in the 90's here).  Looking forward to a quiet evening tonight and tomorrow the ruckus will begin.  Rest day today as my last rest day was last Thursday.

Good Thursday to all. Typically by this time of the week I am sort of winding down but not today. My brother and his kids are coming in to spend the weekend tonight so I've been trying to get everything together for their visit. I have to go by the nursing home and drop some stuff off for Father-in-law (doing okay) and then run a few other errands.

I have an appointment to have my elbow examined again today so I'm hoping to hear better news. It seems to have calmed down a bit so I don't know if it is getting better or the nerve has just calmed down again. I have been going through these cycles for a long time now so I guess time will tell.

I was thinking of strying to squeeze that math class I need in during the summer session. I may be crazy to try with two grandkids due during that time. I have a few weeks until the semester starts so I should probably give it more thought.

Still too cool for me to get on the road so I'll probably head to the gym to get a few miles in on the treadmill. I skipped cross fit all this week and did two different weight circuits instead on Monday and Wednesday. While I like the challenge of cross-fit, I am feeling some stress of trying to fit the class times into my schedule. Stress relief is the reason I work out so much to begin with so I think I may drop the classes for a while until I get some more flexibility back into my schedule. I'm trying to wrap up the 8th and 9th grades for 3 kids so once school is done for this year I'll probably pick it back up.

Good luck with your elbow.  Let us know what happens.

I think it's a smart choice to drop the class until your schedule clears up.  Stressing because you're trying to fit in a class to help manage your stress is counter-productive.  Cool

Smart to lay off your workout if it's going to cause more stress.  Can you start studying for the math class now so that by the time it starts, you'll be ahead of the game?

Oh, Karla, I thought that your elbow had gotten better since I hadn't heard about it. :(. On that same note, my pinched nerve is till bothering me, too, and I am thinking about getting another opinion because I don't care to live with this for the rest of my life. Gymrat, have a wonderful time! Your celebration sounds like so much fun. Aaaahhh, Jean back to the grind...how are those silks going? Dancin', didn't you do some aerial silks classes a while back? SJ, how was your workouts? I am EXHAUSTED! I got home way late after teaching Linedancing. Then, I woke up super early for an all-day driving course, working on emergency situations...so much fun! No workouts today...too tired.

FSN - what caused you to take a drinking course? Jean - we'll have winter again next year...how many days did you ski this season? Gymrat - happy vacation! Karla - I think organizing your workouts on your schedule is a good idea. Dancing - hope you had a good day...I went to the gym tonight - 15 minute bike warmup, lifting for shoulders, bi's, tri's, abs, ran 1.5 miles in 20:47. Better than Monday. Workout wise, this was the best week in a long time. Hoping to make food better next week.

Lol on a drinking course. :). It was a driving course and my employer requires me to take it every three years since I drive so much. It's a lot of fun, and I learned a LOT!
