Skiing sounds like so much fun!

We are expecting severe weather here today. We actually had tornado touch down in January and now today we might be under the gun later on. It's unreal!

Skiing is not my thing. I used to water ski but even then I didn't care for it. I was just going along with the crowd. lol

Wow on the advanced health and fitness specialist. What all does it involved? I once looked into getting my personal training certification but then decided I didn't have the personality that one must have to be successful at it. I think my best role with training is to be a trainee and not a trainer. lol

Oh, and Jean, you know you can bookmark this folder to get e-mail alerts whenever someone posts in it. Then you just click on the top link in the notification and it will bring you right to this folder.

You can also set up RSS feeds to show you all new posts on the board (that's what I do for many boards). You can either import them to Outlook or use Google Reader. Eeither one is pretty

I haven't been able to get to Yoga class in a while but the one thing I absolutely loved about it was how good I felt during and after class. No matter how stressed or rushed I was going into the class, my mind relaxed and I truly was able to de-stress during class.

My gym just came out with a new class schedule for March so I am hoping to get to some of the Yoga classes next month.

The advanced certification would be to work with special populations, in conjunction most often w/ health professionals like doctors, physical therapists, etc.

Thanks--I used to get e-mail notification but it can be overwhelming to get that many emails when I'm trying to cut back. I get over 20 emails every time I sign into my account as it is!

Yoga is so good for you but I can't commit for an hour of it. I wish they'd do an abbreviated class but I'm sure the yogis shudder at the idea.

I've got two clients today and am also planning some type of cardio workout (not sure what yet - maybe step on my Step360).

I am also not a salesperson and I am doing okay. However, we have two incomes and I'd be living a lot more frugally if I were only reliant on my salary.

Honestly, I think being "sales-y" infringes on credibility. I buy up yoga mats at one of our discount stores and then sell them to clients when they need one but don't want to deal with going out to get one. I charge them cost (and sometimes not at all). My husband balks at this. :P I understand his feeling but I want clients to feel like I truly have their best interests at heart (ahead of my own financial gain). If you're selling and upselling, I think it's hard to feel that way. I am deeply suspicious of salespeople which is probably why I am terrible at it.

The sales aspect is what I would not like. I personally like to arrive at work with a list of to-do's rather than have to go beat the bushes and drum up work or try to sell something. I was a waitress for many years and when companies started going to suggestive selling I really got uncomfortable.
