omg, at first, I wrote, "Monday."  After being off for two weeks, I couldn't remember what day it was.  lol.  It was a lovely vacation!  I am preparing to snow blow and shoveld AGAIN.  I think we got a foot of snow in total, and I still see flurries in the air.  It's a nice low cardio workout, although it's also taxing my shoulders.  Since I am back to work today, I was surprised to find that I am unable to get into my computer system, so I can't do most of my work functionality today.  The vendor has been contacted, and there is no response yet.  :O  I was laughing this morning when my company support rep told me that.  Ah, well, perhaps my vacation continues?  Hah!  I have a LOT of administrative stuff I can do.  I have a massage scheduled this afternoon since I stopped going to the chiropractor,  I dont' seem to get much relief from the chiro, so I will spare myself that expense.  Also, I have to follow-up with my dentist since my permanent crown should be in any day, now.

MAKE IT A GREAT DAY, EVERYONE!

Yeah, I've been super confused about what day it is too.  With Christmas, the accident and New Year's, it has felt like such a long week.  I had a massage on Tuesday morning which was super nice.  Our New Year's was spent at OP's with a bunch of a friends for housewarming his new place.  I was feeling really allergic at his place so DH and I came home shortly after ringing in the New Year.  Yesterday, we rested and watched movies.  Today, I'm seeing my allergist.... nothing specific per se but just continuing follow-up for all of my chronic issues.  I may go food shopping after my appointment.  I haven't had vegetables in the house forever!

I too felt like this was Monday. Everything seems so off right now. And..I am starting my new year off with a crown too. My appointment isn't until Monday (the real Monday lol) and I am not looking forward to it.

We have ice and slush here. It is only the second day of January and I so ready for spring!!

I did something I hope I don't regret. I ran a mile-just a mile, yesterday. It felt so good. I was out walking and enjoying being in the outdoors and I started jogging a little. No pain at all but I did have some tightness in my calf later. I don't know why I can't listen to good advice. I have paid a fortune to see a specialist. Why am I bothering if I am not going to take the advice I paid for??!!

We are on day one of a two day storm...I feel like a bear...I want to eat eat eat and then sleep until Spring....I had trouble with 'what day is it' all day too...but I am soooo glad tomorrow is Friday. Since I've decided I am not essential personnel, I am working from home...I used to always go in because I live close enough to walk, but I am over that....I did go to the gym tonight, five minutes on bike, then lifting for legs....no cardio because the gym closed early....

Ugh on your allergies!  I would think that the stress you have had, of late, may have had an impact on your immune system, too.  :(  My doc thinks my low Vitamin D may have an effect on my immune system, too. :O  Take care of yourself...it took me a long time to "relax" after my car accidents.

Karla, there are many instances where you will know better than the doctor because you have many more physical cues from your body than the doc can sense.  However, I think that we sometimes wish we could do more than our body tells us.  There is a balance between the two, and you just don't want to tip that see-saw to the wrong side.  How do you feel?  I think about all of  the opinions I have gotten over my shoulder.  I am "listening" to my body right now, and doing what I think is "right."  For now, I am doing my "squeeze my shoulder blades together" exercises, stretching with yoga, and massaging out that tight knot with this plastic thingy I picked up on vacation last summer.  :O  I am thinking of just adding in a bi-weekly massage from this phenomenal massage therapist I found via a groupon last year.

How nice to work from home!  I wish I could do that today, but, I really need to get out to see my customers to start planning for the new year!  I, too, feel like a bear that wants to eat in prep for hibernation.  :)
