Thank God we do not have a baby yet! Her mother has developed a serious infection but they are treating it and we are hoping the baby cooks for a while longer.

I started this morning off with a completely flat tire and I hope it is no indication of how my day is going to go. I have much to do but am hoping I get a chance to throw on my new workout capris and get to the gym for some weights later.

That is good news, Karla.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

Busy morning for me... consult with a new client and then a session with a regular.  Tonight, having a discussion with my friend about what's going on with her.  Did cardio intervals this morning.

Good news about the baby!  It's amazing how they can treat so much these days.  Kel, good luck w/ your client!  My tough client (won't work hard and can't lose weight) who was also, by chance, one of my favorite people as clients go, isn't going to work in our area anymore so she'll no longer be training. I'll miss her but not miss training her, if that makes sense. I had a few clients this morning, went to Zumba. Last Friday, I hurt my shoulder doing rolls at parkour and then at silks, kept doing this move wrong. Instead of the silks catching above my knees, it missed and grabbed my mid thigh and jerked me to a stop like a tourniquet. Rather than ask the instructor, I kept trying it and now I have massive huge bruises mid thigh and it hurts to move.  I'm thinking i need to pick less bruising sports, or not...

Everyone seems so busy! Regarding my allergies, I got that weekly allergy injections for years, with little to no relief. I've been on so many different cocktails of medication. I know I just need to stay on top of it. So, it's funny that you guys mentioned it, but I went and purchased a couple different medications, and I've been taking them religiously sense. I moved my daughter out of her dorm, got errands done for my mother, and went out to a lovely country club brunch with my mother and her best friend your best friend's daughter and my daughter. I tried to enjoy my mother as much as I can, as I watch her slowly declined. I had my Cairo appointment this morning and I'm going to hour and a half of yoga tonight.

I go to court with my ex tomorrow so I will see how my new lawyer is in the court room. Life goes forward. Carla, that's wonderful that your grandbaby is still cooking. Gym rat, let us know how things go with your friend. And Jean, you sound all beat up. That sounds very painful. SJ, I am so hopeful that I can join you in swimming laps, as my Cairo said that I should be able to return to normal activities once we get my shoulder issue resolved. :D

I do knit! And, I do calligraphy, too.  Those are my downtime activities. I'm impressed that you get in a workout, even away on work.  Hope you had a safe trip back!
