I really shouldn't feel this way given the beautiful weather but it's hard to come back to the same old, same old.  I'm teaching step this morning then have two advice clients. I'm supposed to row tonight but it's become painfully monotonous.  I thnk I'm going to give it up.  There are far too many thiings I want to do and that's just too regimented for me, both in what it is and the time.  What are you all up to?

So, that was really annoying because there was nothing in what I had posted that contained profanity and yet, I had to rewrite that to make it fit.  Finally, and it's not worth all the effort...

I'm wondering if we do our kids a disservice in having them think there's any significance to the car they drive or size of house they live in. That's probably some of my post vacation blues. Back in competitive American society.

Hmmm, I found the sentence and cannot figure out why it's triggering the profanity problem. Maybe it's reading what's going on in my mind right now.

As I said to my family as we drove by little dwellings, people in our area w/ huge houses and granite countertops, are happier.

Okay, so the "profanity" wasn't in that portion. Moving to the next section:

My husband took hundreds of shots of Costa Rica but I didn't bring any electronics, except my kindle.  As with everywhere else, people are just more laid back there. We're so hypercompetitive, stressed here, and with no good reason.

Hmm, I'm getting a filter that I have profanity and for the life of me can't figure out what it could possibly be.  Let's try this in piece parts:

Do you like bunco?  I just couldn't get into it. Or, maybe it's that I couldn't get into the excuse of neighborhood ladies getting together to drink w/ an excuse. If I want to get together w/ friends and drink, I think I'd just call it that.

I have no idea how people carry their cell phones all the time. I can't see myself carrying a pouch and it's too big for my pockets. I don't care to be accessible all the time but there are people who are.

I had a morning like that yesterday--weird odd dreams that was frustrating and it was a relief to finally wake up.  I see the problem w/ your new position. The supervisor wants someone who can read her mind.  Was that in the job description? "New and interesting" is a way of saying, "I have no idea what I want so find it."  Maybe new and interesting to her might be balance training, eg bosu, ball?  Maybe TRX, cross core, body weight exercises? HIIT and Tabatas? None of that is new but it might be to her.  Hey, write about parkour:

I am swamped. Playing catch-up from vacation, and coming home to finding out that my partner was fired and that changes are coming since the president was fired, also, has left me with a time of additional work that I didn't have before."Calgon, take me away. "I would really love to finish my quilt. Or, start a new one. Oh well. Tomorrow, I plan on working out you look to call, doing yoga, and I have bunco with different group of ladies. My daughter has one more week before she returns to school, and, then, maybe I can find some me time. Gymrat, can you ask your publisher for some examples of what she considers new? Is she looking for new methods of working out such as activity-based workouts like Jean is doing, or is she looking for the newest trends In classes, or diet cleanses or health food and gluten-free kicks? Just a thought. Jean, do you have anymore pictures from your vacation? Sounds like it was awesome. Plus, what did you find the most difference compared to our culture here?

If rowing has become painfully monotonous, I'd move on. Like you said, there are too many other things to do rather than stick with something that is no longer enjoyable.

First thing today I have to grade a pre-algebra test and proofread rough drafts for the first writing assignment of the year. I then have the usual housework. I have to work later today at my other job so I'm going to try to squeeze in a few miles before I leave. It could be too late and raining by the time I get off work tonight so hopefully I'll get some exercise in early.

I finally found a great "pouch" for my cell phone, park pass, and car keys while I'm walking. I had been wearing an old fashioned belly bag but finally found something in a running store that works great.

Fresh-how is the new partner?

Ever have a night of frustrating dreams and you wake up feeling pissy?  That's me this morning.  My dreams were one frustrating thing right after another - so much so that when I woke up, I decided to get up because I was tired of being annoyed.

I'm pretty sure I know what the source of that was... Maybe you guys can tell me what I'm missing here.  The first contract I got is for 4 articles.  I wrote a "trial" article that was about working out at home and included an exercise program.  She liked it and asked for 3 more.  The following three I wrote about the importance of rest, our obsession with the scale, and stretching.  She hated all 3 of them and said they were boring and lacked "deep study".  Yet, the job posting said they didn't want "boring medical stuff."  She keeps telling me to write something "new and interesting."  For the life of me, I don't know what that is.  Honestly, there's not a lot about fitness topics that are "new and interesting" to me.  Am I missing something?

I've got an aesthetician appointment this morning for electrolysis on the eyebrows and I'm starting it on the tattoo on my calf (not the new one).  It's annoying getting laser on the legs but having this patch that still grows. I've got a massage this afternoon.  I'll probably workout when I get home but I don't know what I'm doing yet.
