First, do NOT post in the summary as I did the first time. Huh?! First, I could not sign in on my iPad...I got a "forum/2019 not found" message. AND the "carriage returns" aren't working in the formatting...really, don't your software engineers test their patches before going live?! Ok, I have a cold and have been sneezing all morning. But I have to go to work because of a scheduled appointment. Oh well. Doctor's offices are used to being around sick people, so they won't care, but I am peeved that for yet another weekend, I plan on being sick. :( I have a lot to do with my family coming in two weeks. :O C'est la vie. No workouts this week since I am, again, so majorly exhausted! I cannot figure out why my quads hurt...I am getting old -- was I squatting a lot at puptraining class??? My dog is totally food driven and he is FOOD's best friend. :P The next month is jam packed with stuff. Maybe that's why I got sick - stress of too much stuff - work, family, ex, ugh. As I told dh, though, we have each other's backs...I came home early from dogtraining last night to make him dinner - he was putting together a sleep number's bed for the guest room...he really likes when I cook dinner...a pinterest inspired chinese chicken stirfry dinner (I never follow exact measurements and I generally use what I have in the pantry as opposed to buying the exact ingredients). It was yummy. What gymratty things are you all up to since I took a vacation from my gymrat status this week.

Hi Fresh,

I've passed along all your comments. :-)

My daughter has just discovered pinterest and she is driving me crazy with it. lol I have to take a final this evening so I'm trying to gear myself up and conserve my hand so I'll still be able to feel it an hour into the test. Sheesh!

Going to just walk a few miles after the test tonight.

FSN - From your post, I can just imagine you talking a mile a minute... schedule yourself a massage and if you have to take some time off of work or blow off a social engagement, do it. You know as well as anyone that if you don't give your body time to rest and recover, it's going to force you to rest (and that usually happens in a pretty unpleasant way). *hugs* Go watch an entire season of something trashy and mindless. :) Karla - good luck on your final! I had one client this morning and that's all for today. I posted here a while back that I was doing a version of yoga where you hold each pose for 60 seconds... my friend and I have written an app for it. It's very close to being finished. In lieu of strength training this morning, I'm going to use/test the app. My body feels so sore from working out this week but I wanted to save tomorrow for a rest day. So I think I'll do this instead. We're going to a birthday party dinner tonight at a fancypants hotel. Should be fun. And tomorrow is the Santa pub crawl. Have a good weekend guys! P.S. Because I know you were all worried, I bought mucho vegetables this morning. I'm making a crispy shiitake mushroom salad that I found in Women's Health and also my veggie wheatberry salad. I figure if I have veggie options in the fridge, it'll help offset all the socializing...

It is 2:00 am in Krakow and I just got home from the Christmas party...where I partied with the 20 something's...I am better at being 25 now than I was then...much less awkward...I danced a lot...my foot wil probably complain tomorrow but I do not care...I went to the gym tonight and although I was planning to lift weights, I got there in time for Zumba class si i did that instead...maybe not the best choice before dancing but I was going to go tomorrow and this way I will lift tomorrow so it will work out. FSN -rest. Karla - study Gymrat - drink...you get the best assignment...Jean - try not to bruise more than 50% of your body at parkour this week...happy weekend everyone

I'm w/ kel about scheduling some quiet time for yourself. You put everyone's needs above your own.  Being self-centered is a good thing, once in a while, for every one.

I had a crazy busy day--too many clients, too many errands/family things and am finally getting some quiet time. Maybe I need to scnedule some me time with massage!  No workout today but I need the break.

Good luck on your final!  I finally signed up for pinterest but haven't figured out how it works.  My daughter was following people, by mistake under my account and I have no idea how to delete it. Oh well.

This is why I don't do yoga. It's too much work.  Have fun on your santa crawl.  LOL, I love that you have so many theme pub crawls!

Yeah, it would be great to be 25 with a more mature brain. I'd be a much better younger person, having been older.  One of the ironies of life.I'm glad you're having a great time there!
